Band of Brothers is 25 this month and a lot of us are rewatching. I’d argue that Episode 5 is one of the better ones. Set in the late autumn of 1944 (and told mostly through the eyes of Winters), it marks the beginning of a major shift in the series, hence the title of the episode: 'Crossroads.' With the momentum and optimism of the Normandy campaign in the past, we now see the war wearing down Easy Company. What's more, the strain that's beginning to show is made all the more poignant because we, the viewers, know that even worse days are ahead.
