Galileo Resources (AIM: GLR) has confirmed that all conditions precedent have now been satisfied for its previously announced share purchase agreement with Metal Capital Exploration, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASX-listed Sandfire Resources. With the outstanding conditions now cleared, completion of the transaction is expected on or around 30 September 2026. Zenith Energy (LSE: ZEN / OSE: ZENA / XSAT: ZENA SDR) has acquired Stradella 1, a circa 9MWp solar development project in Lombardy, taking its total Italian solar pipeline to approximately 212MWp and moving it closer to its 240MWp target by the end of 2026. The 9.5-hectare site is located just 2km from existing electricity infrastructure, with Zenith only required to commit to the approximately €807,500 land consideration once formal grid connection terms are accepted, limiting financial exposure during development. Construction is meanwhile underway across its 7MWp Puglia portfolio, with commissioning targeted before year-end. Zenith is also progressing its asset-monetisation strategy following the proposed €12m sale of its approximately 50MWp South Piedmont portfolio, with further sales under negotiation and management expecting significant revenues from disposals towards the end of 2026 or beginning of 2027.@zenithenergyltd
DAILY ROUNDUP - Pre-Market Open
London stocks are set for a broadly flat start on Friday, with the FTSE 100 called fractionally higher at around 10,816 after an impressive 1.2% gain on Thursday, as investors digest an increasingly hawkish message from the Bank of England and another major central-bank move in Japan. The Bank held rates at 3.75% by six votes to three, but several policymakers signalled that the case for tighter policy is building if the prolonged Middle East conflict continues to push energy prices and inflation higher, with Governor Andrew Bailey warning that policy may have to tighten. Overnight, the Bank of Japan raised rates by 25 basis points to 1.25%, their highest level in more than 30 years, helping the Nikkei rise 1.7%, while Shanghai and Hong Kong both gained 0.9%. Wall Street also enjoyed a strong session, with the Dow up 0.6%, the S&P 500 gaining 1.2% and Nasdaq climbing 1.7%. Sterling traded around $1.3363 and €1.1638, gold strengthened to approximately $4,374 an ounce and Brent eased slightly to around $103.54 a barrel. Attention now turns to UK retail sales this morning, alongside German producer prices, eurozone construction output and US industrial production later in the day.

EnergyPathways (AIM: EPP) has signed a collaboration agreement with Finland’s Hycamite to evaluate its proven methane-splitting technology for the production of low-carbon hydrogen and high-grade graphite as part of the MESH energy storage project at Barrow-in-Furness. EPP plans a 20,000-tonne-per-year hydrogen plant alongside a circa 60,000-tonne graphite facility, with initial company scoping indicating potential annual revenues of £90–120m from approximately 20,000 tonnes each of hydrogen and high-grade graphite, at estimated EBITDA margins of 30–40%. A further £20–30m of potential revenue could come from lower-grade graphite and residual fines. The technology is being evaluated alongside EPP’s existing work with KBR and Hazer Group, while the company intends to seek UK Government Critical Minerals Accelerator funding. With graphite designated a critical UK growth mineral, EPP sees the project as potentially adding a substantial new revenue stream to MESH while supplying strategically important domestic graphite and competitively priced low-carbon hydrogen.@energy_pathways
Serval Resources (AIM: SRVL) has completed geophysical surveys at its Somelo copper prospect and is nearing completion at Sweet Thorn Pan in Botswana’s highly prospective Kalahari Copper Belt, with both areas positioned along the interpreted strike from MMG’s Khoemacau copper-silver mine, which hosts a 450Mt resource grading 1.4% copper and 18g/t silver. Serval is combining AMT, induced polarisation and high-resolution drone magnetics to map the prospective contact between the Ngwako Pan and D’kar formations beneath the Kalahari sand cover, with Sweet Thorn Pan also benefiting from historical drilling under previous ownership. Data processing is already underway, with integrated interpretation expected during October and follow-up targets anticipated around month-end. The programme is designed to identify the strongest targets for future drilling as Serval advances its strategy of building a copper-focused development portfolio in Botswana.@ServalResources
DAILY ROUNDUP - Pre-Market Open
London stocks are set for a firmer start on Thursday, with the FTSE 100 called around 17 points higher at 10,706 after gaining 0.3% on Wednesday, as attention shifts from the Federal Reserve to today’s Bank of England decision. The Fed delivered its first rate increase in more than three years overnight, unanimously lifting the federal funds target range by 25 basis points to 3.75–4.00% as it seeks to bring elevated inflation back towards its 2% target, with policymakers indicating one further increase this year before rates remain unchanged through 2027. Wall Street reacted negatively, with the Dow falling 1.2%, the S&P 500 down 0.5% and Nasdaq marginally lower. The Bank of England is expected to leave Bank Rate unchanged at 3.75% at midday, while sterling weakened to around $1.3382 but edged higher against the euro at €1.1672. Asian markets were mixed, with Japan up 0.2% and Australia 0.3% higher, while Shanghai fell 0.3% and Hong Kong lost 1.1%. Gold eased to around $4,297 an ounce, while Brent remained above $105 a barrel. Geopolitical and trade tensions remain firmly in focus after US President Donald Trump threatened tariffs or restrictions on trade with Europe in response to proposals for closer EU-Canada cooperation, while investors will also be watching eurozone inflation, US jobless claims and building-permit data later today.

Aterian (LSE: ATN) has commenced a trial programme to trade tungsten ore and concentrates in Rwanda, marking an important expansion of its Eastinco subsidiary from its established tantalum operations towards becoming a broader, cash-generative critical-minerals trading platform. Eastinco will initially undertake controlled lot-by-lot tungsten transactions, leveraging its existing procurement network, responsible-sourcing systems and international trading relationships before potentially scaling volumes significantly. With China accounting for around 82% of global mined tungsten supply in 2024, Aterian sees an opportunity to build an alternative responsibly sourced supply chain from Rwanda. To support the expansion, the company intends to raise approximately £180,000 through zero-coupon convertible loan notes converting at 25p, primarily funding new operational systems, expanded premises and working capital. Based on currently indicated margins, Aterian believes tungsten trading could repay Eastinco’s initial investment within a relatively short timeframe, allowing capital to be repeatedly recycled and potentially generating recurring cash flow to help fund the wider Group.@aterianplc
Blencowe Resources (LSE: BRES) has issued a governance and compliance update following the historical PDMR notification matters disclosed earlier this week concerning former CEO Mike Ralston. Blencowe says it was notified of the matters on 12 September and subsequently made the required disclosures on 14 September, while undertaking a review of its existing governance, share-dealing and compliance procedures. Following a detailed review with its legal advisers, the company has now decided not to engage Ralston as a consultant, while all performance shares and share options held by him have lapsed. Blencowe has reiterated its controls around PDMR dealings and shareholding reconciliations and says its operational focus remains firmly on advancing the Orom-Cross Graphite Project, with Iain Wearing continuing to lead the project and further operational updates expected in due course.@BlencoweRes
DAILY ROUNDUP - Pre-Market Open
London stocks are set for a firmer start on Wednesday, with the FTSE 100 called around 30 points higher at 10,689 after closing 0.4% lower on Tuesday, as investors brace for a major day of economic data and central-bank action. UK inflation takes centre stage first, with annual CPI expected to accelerate to 3.1% in August from 2.9% in July and monthly inflation forecast at 0.5%, while producer prices and RPI are also due. Attention then turns firmly to the Federal Reserve and its latest interest-rate decision later today, alongside US retail sales and trade-price data. Wall Street finished lower overnight, with the Dow down 0.6%, the S&P 500 off 0.5% and Nasdaq falling 0.8%, while Asian markets were more positive, with Japan up 0.3%, Shanghai gaining 0.7%, Hong Kong adding 0.2% and Australia 0.3% higher. Sterling traded around $1.3488 and €1.1682, while gold strengthened sharply to $4,329 an ounce and Brent remained elevated at around $108 a barrel. Geopolitical risk remains firmly in focus, with the US Congressional Budget Office estimating the conflict with Iran had already cost the US military around $38bn by the start of August and could add another $2–3bn for every month it continues.
