48 needed with one pick and there’s Freddie Ljunberg. Limbs.
I built a game for @FourFourTwo – all you have to do is select an XI that has scored 442 goals in Premier League history. Lot of work went into this: should you keep you occupied for the long international break (or at the very least, your lunch break) fourfourtwo.com/quiz/442goal…

Aside from two (pretty decent) Croatia goals, that was great. Above all, we were very exciting to watch. Would start Guehi and Rashford going forward over Konsa and Gordon. Anderson, Jude & O’Reilly very impressive. And we actually have the best striker in the world.
Our @FIFAWorldCup campaign is up and running! 👏

Would be all over that. Very different to Williamson. It isn’t passing for passings sake, it’s good, high energy footy. Seen us take so many pastings in recent years but what they did to us in pre-season the year before last really sticks in my mind. Tore us to shreds.
Understand Rob Elliott is set to leave his role as Gateshead head coach. #WorClub

I’ve been lucky, had some fantastic bosses in my life. He wasn’t one. Opportunity now to bring in a young, ambitious CEO to take us forward.
Carlisle United Football Club can confirm that Nigel Clibbens has left his role as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

Grafted their bollocks off. Absolutely ragdolled them in that first half. Second half wasn’t pretty, but was never going to be when you’re 3-0 up away from home. Thought Macadam was immense.
Three goals. Three points. 💙

I don’t want to overreact based on recency bias, but David Ajiboye is the greatest footballer in the world.

Above all, that was a great watch. A lot to be said for having grafters in, thought Wearne was excellent and really like Embleton out wide, Armstrong running his pan in as usual too. Ajiboye - 🐐

That was painful. Didn’t get even remotely close to them. I don’t have a clue what our identity is? What is it we’re actually trying to do to score goals? Think Kelly’s interview spoke a few truths. Zero positives, but Alex Gilliead deserves to hold his head up.

Painful watch that. We really struggle when teams camp in. But my god our fan base are reactionary and miserable. Suddenly Hughes needs sacked, Linney is wank and CCC needs sent back. Some of the tweets and Facebook comments are equally as much of a shan as that performance.

Glad to see Georgie get a couple. His hold-up is outrageous, and in my eyes there’s never been a doubt about how good a finisher he is, just needed a day like today to kick on. Teams are desperate for a point at BP, so it won’t always be pretty, just need to get it done.

Think too often people are obsessed with numbers for strikers. He’s on to 6 for the season now, and everything else he offers is arguably more important. He may not directly set goals up, but someone like Linney wouldn’t be as good as he is without Kelly causing so much chaos.

Amazing what a bit of confidence can do for a player. Macadam is a serious weapon in our arsenal, such a good striker of the ball.

Chris Conn-Clarke should be nowhere near the National League. Pay whatever they’re asking. He is mustard.

Staggering frequency of Chat GPT captions for very basic things.

If you want to use it btw, fair enough. It’s a great tool. But at least prompt it correctly, remove the bits that blatantly show that it’s ai generated and adjust it so it actually looks alright when posted. More the copy and paste that bothers me than anything else.

I haven’t tweeted in forever but Savage has driven me to it. Goaded the fans from minute one. Acted up for the cameras constantly, told The Paddock ‘you should be 4-1 down’ and gave it big licks when they scored. He got exactly what he deserved - nothing over the line.
"It crossed the line. It's unacceptable." Robbie Savage speaks on the abuse he received during Forest Green's trip to Carlisle🗣️

You cannot play the pantomime villain and then cry when it blows up in your face. FGR are a very, very good side. Some really good football on show. But all he is doing is putting a massive target on their back. It must be torturous for their players and fans at times.
