This year we have made retrieval practice even more accessible by printing ‘retrieval booklets’- quizzes, mind maps, give me 5s, Knowledge organisers and retrieval clocks for all topics. Completed for homework each week. Has really helped retention.

Organise your activities & resources for the following week on a Friday. Have a tray for each day, and put the things you need for that day in it. It took me about half an hour on a Friday, but meant every other day there was a quick set up! #NQTsRock #littlewins

You are you as a teacher. The times I’ve seen lessons go the most wrong is when people try to be a teacher they’re not. Not everyone has to sing, dance, tell jokes or be wacky. Children are canny things and they’ll appreciate the real you more than a fake one.
