69% of ALL voters support #Medicare4All. Yet, neither party will put it on the platform, even during a pandemic.
Why is that? Who is being represented?

Hey @SouthwestAir,
I paid nearly $1k for seat and selected seat 2D as ALP. The seat comes with half the underseat storage as other seats.
Also, the man in middle seat is so large he’s halfway into my seat. My knee hurts, back hurts, neck hurts -and I have 3 hours left. Misery

A new version that matches this will be introduced into the house. Both version will then be attached to bigger bills and get majority votes. Walsh's change of position from opposition to support is probably key to making this happen.
Today, we will mark up the Muhammad Ali American Boxing Revival Act, which now has stronger protections for fighters thanks to our work with Nico Ali Walsh. Nico cares deeply about protecting fighters and the future of boxing.
Originally opposed to the bill, he came before the Committee and raised concerns about boxer safety. At that hearing, I made clear that I wanted stakeholders who had concerns to work with me to strengthen the legislation.
Nico answered that call. He took time away from his own career to work directly with our offices and push for stronger protections for fighters. His input helped shape meaningful improvements to the bill, and the final product is stronger because of his involvement.
I’m grateful for the work Nico put into this and for his commitment to making sure this legislation works for the fighters whose careers and livelihoods are on the line.
Sen. Rosen and I are proud to have the support of a fighter who has advocated fiercely for his peers and worked to make sure legislation bearing his grandfather’s name is worthy of that legacy.

Using Nico Ali Walsh as a prop to push forward a bill that clearly is written to benefit one promotional entity and just as clearly (to any elected official who bothers to even put it into ChatGPT) will result in lower pay for non-collectively bargained athletes is gross.

BREAKING: Jimmy Kimmel announces his interview with Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico will NOT air on ABC tomorrow, saying Trump’s FCC has threatened him, his show, ABC, its affiliates, and local stations over “simple traditional editorial decisions” and guest bookings.
Kimmel says the full interview will instead be posted to YouTube: “In the America we live in right now, that is the best that we can do until November.”
Weak and lame take.
Calling a sport “college” that pays $40 million a year does not alter the fundamental reality —these are professional sports and have been for decades.
When the NCAA could exploit athletes the money went to coaches and administrators.
Enter antitrust.
DAMN!
Way to go Gunner!
