I know of a Tim Hortons restaurant in rural Alberta that forces its imported labour to rent their apartments from a building he owns. That’s indentured slavery, Boss. So, we aren’t buying your bullshit pleading.

Don't worry. No one cares.
Hundreds of illiterate Somalis were guided into the polls in Lewiston over the last two weeks by "translators" who often appeared to be filling out ballots on behalf of voters. The U.S. Attorney for Maine says he's investigating.

When will provincial governments start putting the cost of living for Canadians first? Trade barriers between provinces drive up costs and limit choice. That’s a problem we can fix ourselves.

262 days. It’s been 262 days since you were airlifted to BC Children’s Hospital. 262 days since we were told, “We did everything we could, but we don’t think she’s going to make it through the night.” Since then, I’ve watched you fight for every single one of those days. 251 days ago, you opened your eye, moved it, and shifted your leg only to be rushed back for emergency surgery that morning when hydrocephalus set in. 238 days ago, you were extubated and breathed on your own for the first time. 230 days ago, you felt the sun on your face again. 224 days ago, the cranioplasty we had planned turned into yet another emergency when an infection was discovered. 214 days ago, your EVD was finally removed. 213 days ago, you sat on the edge of the bed with a little help, and I wrapped my arms around you for the first time since the morning I left for work before any of this began. 191 days ago, the NG tube came out, and I saw your beautiful face completely clear of tubes and tape. 179 days ago, your prosthetic skull was placed. Your fifth surgery, and the one that finally stuck. After that, things slowly began to feel possible again. 145 days ago, you smiled for the first time (intentionally) while we played thumb war. 140 days ago, I wheeled you off hospital grounds for the very first time. 61 days ago, I heard your voice again. 40 days ago, we celebrated your 13th birthday at the Foo Fighters. And today, today you’re being released. There was never a day I stopped believing we would get here. The road ahead is still long, but this is a milestone no one thought we would reach. Maya, you are the bravest person I know. You are an inspiration to so many people. Giving up was never an option for me, and it clearly never was for you either. You refused to accept the words we heard 262 days ago when you came out of the OR. Look at you, my girl. You blew every expectation out of the water. Thank you to the incredible nurses, doctors, and therapists who walked every step of this with us. Thank you to everyone who supported Maya and our family we could not have done this without each and every one of you. Now it’s time to leave these hospital walls behind and keep moving forward, Maya Bear. I love you forever and always. —Dad ❤️

Mayhaps @marty_blick could use some reading comprehension skills and police operational law understanding. Has nothing to do with privacy in public. Also only 8 years late to the game.

People can criticize Danielle Smith all they want, but the economic numbers speak for themselves. Alberta outpaced Canada’s GDP growth in 2025, recorded a $2.2B budget surplus, and leads the provinces in GDP per capita. Those are real results, not political talking points.

If 24-25% of those who voted are pro separation referendum, what percentage of @UCPCaucus voters are that. Also I have talked to a significant amount of remain voters that are UCP voters and are expecting Carney to deliver promises without red tape and Brookfield payola attached.

Just finished watching the President of the United States telling reporters immigration and open borders are the biggest problem for France. Trump insists violence and rioting in French cities has nothing to do with students and/or education. That the violence is about people entering France who don't care about the country, don't care about its culture, don't care about its history. Trump stated he told French President Macron to close French borders when they first met 9 years ago and adds he's told European leaders "close your borders. Get the people who don't love your countries out, or Europe is finished."

Imagine having lived through the last 10 years in Canada, and still believing that our institutions are led by competent individuals. This is what cognitive dissonance looks like 👇

This is not the first time we've had a large grass fire on a Canadian military base. After a big one at Suffield in September 2017, the military recommended 17 changes to prevent another one from occuring. cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/c…

Even his wife thought it was laughable he was the PM. Canadians who voted to have this guy as leader of a G7 nation for 10 years are the same ones who now believe Carney's daily bullshit. No difference, same outcomes.
