Summer McIntosh does not qualify for the 400m freestyle A final at the Pan Pacs.
Her time of 4:08.56 is the 9th fastest of the morning heats.
She was in line to finish second behind Pallister in her heat and was out-touched at the wall and finished third.
Maybe you missed Canada vs USA last night in the Volleyball Nations League. If so, you're going to want to watch this highlight package. No spoilers here. But, it was exciting.

Well this is interesting.

Just spoke to the BBC about the demand for ice rinks in the UK - piece out next week.
The mainstream media's intrigue in the sport is getting less absurd each time they look at the sport - from the ridiculous FT article about why women follow ice hockey, then to the potential 'spike in interest' from Heated Rivalry, now finally true journalism about something that matters.
Waiting lists at nearly all clubs. Many hours of travel just to train. 2million tickets sold annually to league/cup fixtures. Biggest indoor sport in the country (by a long way).
The sport has grown quietly, well-past the current infrastructure available. This is not just a supply and demand issue that will 'go away'.
Here's a pretty great piece on Canadian Para Hockey great Paul Rosen produced by Olympic Broadcasting Services.
He's the real article. And, a really good friend.

Empty net goal by Liam Hockey seals a hard fought 4-1 win over Czechia to lock up first place in Group B of the Para Hockey tournament in Milano-Cortina.
Great game. So much passion from both teams.

Canada has two men in the penalty box while leading 3-1 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd. In fact its a 4 on 3 with one Czech in there too.

Very grateful to have met this ridiculously talented, humble kid from Regina in 2013. He changed my career.

This is a really good watch.
Watch it all but you'll see the fall at 13:40. As reported, Mark fully lands the jump and then - as the boarders say - a snow snake grabbed him and tossed him down.
