Ah man. What a night. 2AM & I am absolutely hammered. But what a win! Alemannia Aachen is the greatest club in the world! 🖤💛

Was feeling a bit tipsy after quite a few of the €2 beers. Went for something to eat & may have had some of the tastiest @FootyScran I've ever had. Was so good, I instantly went back for a 2nd!!! Mexicano at 🇳🇱 7th tier VV Chevremont. €3. Delicious!!

Arrived at my 7th tier match in The Netherlands. €2 a beer and techno version of Alice Deejay is pumping through the speakers in the bar. Just leave me here forever please!

Due to the religious holiday, there is zero amateur football in this part of Germany today. So to get my football fix, I've popped across the border to The Netherlands. Given myself an hour in Landgraff & found a great pub with a few nice new beers. Now to the match! 🇳🇱🍻

Aachen is a lovely city. It's a religious holiday in this part of Germany today so it's even more quiet than it is on a usual Sunday morning.

Took a stroll up to The Tivoli. Eerily quiet around the place this morning. That will certainly change in a little under 10 hours though. It should be a good one! Can't wait! 🖤💛

MATCHDAY! 🖤💛 Despite kick off not being for another 10+ hours, out & about early for a walk around Aachen. 13 beers yesterday, including 5x Mixerys & 6x Bitburger stubbies, but a much needed Spezi & the fresh air is bringing me back to normality.

I got invited to a Halloween party tonight & 5 hours ago, I had every intention of going. But it's been a long day & I'm absolutely shattered. Made it back to my hotel with a Dönerbox & a Mixery & the 2.BL topspiel is on the tv. I'm not going anywhere tonight.

What an unbelievable match!!! SV Eilendorf 5-4 FV Wiehl U19 Verbandsliga. The most frantic match I've seen in a long time. Basement battle but apparently staying at this level is quite a big deal. 3-0 at 60mins 3-4 at 90 mins Finished 5-4!!! 😲 Just incredible! 🇩🇪⚽️🍻

2nd match of the trip. Free entry. Scarf & beer purchased! 😍

1st match of the trip. FSG Merkstein 1-3 Concordia Oidtweiler II Kreisliga B, 10th tier Ground 212 in 🇩🇪 DB delayed me by over an hour, so got there 20 mins in & missed the big pre match pyro show by the away fans. Joined them for rest of the game & deserved their win.

FUCKING DEUTSCHE BAHN!!! 🤬 Gonna be missing kick off by a few mins as it stands. Can't afford any more delays please

Fanshop raided, wallet is now €70 lighter 💛🖤 Quick beer in Hopfen & Malz before heading back to the station to head to match 1 of the trip Meeting up with 20 guys on a birthday bender, all there to support the away side in the 10th division. Could be a messy afternoon 🇩🇪⚽️🍻

I take it back. Train now terminating at Eschweiler. So got to change and wait the 25 minutes for my original train. This is the DB I remember!

Arrived in Germany 😃 Train from the airport arrived in Messe/Deutz just before 11AM. Should've been a 25 minute wait for my train to Aachen... But the 1 before is 40 mins delayed so arrived 4 minutes after I got there. Just enough time to grab some refreshments too! 🇩🇪⚽️🍻💪🏻

Change is coming... hopefully! 🙏 The DFB has submitted a proposal that from 2029, to have 4x20 team Regional leagues with each champion being promoted. Vote is a week before Xmas & would need a ⅔ majority to go ahead. 🤞🏻🇩🇪⚽️

10 years ago today I completed a visit to all 18 Bundesliga grounds with a trip to Darmstadt. Almost unrecognisable from how the ground looks now. 🇩🇪⚽️
