There should be boxed sets of books without book one. You buy book one to see if you, or your kid, like it, & want a set of the rest of the series, but you are forced to rebuy book 1 or buy them one at a time. So sell the set without book one. @Usborne @Scholastic @HodderBooks

The brilliant Donella Meadows - mother of systems thinking - is a hero to me, so it was an unmissable opportunity to talk about her life and work on @BBCRadio4 Great Lives. You can catch it here. bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001pt9… #ecologicaleconomics #systemsthinking @bethsawin

There’s this Picasso quote that goes “When art critics get together they talk about Form and Structure and Meaning. When artists get together they talk about where you can buy cheap turpentine.” There’s probably an equivalent for business operators.

I read that the maximum size of a document in the current PDF standard is 381km x 381km and I thought woah hilarious, how Borgesian is that? And then I looked it up and it's only fucking true.

Don’t say: It starts at 11am, but come 15 minutes earlier for the briefing. Do say: Arrive at 10.45am.

Hi @zzcrockett I enjoyed the T Rex episode. But it’d not *really* an “everyday” thing! ;-)

Nickname is not ‘nick’ + ‘name.’ It was originally ‘ekename’ which means "also-name." Over time, “an ekename” became “a nickname.”

How can cards in boxes bear any relation to whizzy modern computer PKG tools?⚡️💻 🫤 So could Niklas Luhmann’s Zettelkasten be a personal knowledge graph? 🤔 That’s the topic of one of @kvistgaard’s chapters in the Personal Knowledge Graph book. Buy the 📕 for the answer! 🤯

What percentage of experts on the internet start off as “Here is how to do this particular thing.” and end up as “You can do this! You’ve just got to work on yourself. Let me show you how I do it.”?

Not really. No. “You might’ve noticed that you didn't receive your ... newsletter last week. We appreciate that you may be curious why, and we wanted to let you know that we’re currently working on revamping and enhancing our ... email.”
