Mikey Keene and Jake Fette warmed up side-by-side, but Fette was the one taking snaps from Makua Pule, the presumed starter at center. Tana Alo-Tupuola is out and Wade Helton is questionable.
So if it’s Fette and Pule, it will be a 3rd-string C snapping to a 3rd-string QB.
Arizona St starting QB Cutter Boley was benched two weeks ago at Texas Tech. Then Mikey Keene got hurt last week vs Kansas St and is a game-time decision. If he can’t go, freshman Jake Fette will make his first start. Third-string QB behind third-string center.

I’ll be roaming the sideline this afternoon for the national radio broadcast of Arizona at No. 15 BYU. 1:00pm MDT pregame, 1:30pm MDT kickoff on Gridiron Radio. gridironradio.com/
I re-watch this every year on the anniversary of September 11th. Most of the time, baseball is just a game. But in 2001, it played an important role for so many in helping the country heal from that horrific day.

I’m in Madison for Epic’s annual User Group Meeting this week and @byusoccer_w just so happens to be playing at Wisconsin tonight. Great catching up with Coach Rockwood and @gregwrubell. Go Cougs!
Former @BYUfootball running back Bryan Kariya (2008-11) has been called to serve as president of the Huntsville Alabama Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

During the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, former Utah head coach/new Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham says he expects about 90% of his staff to be named by this weekend.
That was a great bowl game. Shame that Notre Dame wanted no part of it. Respect to BYU and Georgia Tech for going all in.
As a lifelong BYU and Michigan fan, I like the Kyle Whittingham hire. Michigan needed a head coach with unimpeachable character to restore honor and respect to the program. Coach Whittingham is one of the most impressive coaches I have interviewed. Utah coach, yes, but BYU alum!
I was worried the Kalani Sitake-Penn State story would be a distraction that would negatively impact the team this Saturday.
But after watching their reaction to the news, it may very well be a catalyst that has a positive effect.
How could you not play even more motivated now?
The disrespect by the College Football Playoff Committee is not just directed toward #BYU, but the entire @Big12Conference. 10 of the 16 teams in the Big 12 have been ranked in the AP Top 25 at some point this season (more than the Big Ten).
BYU went 5-1 against them.
Anybody who has seen how quickly the yellow shirts of the Helping Hands program mobilize after a disaster is not surprised by what BYU just did in the last 24 hours to keep Kalani Sitake.
Since they said they would be at the BYU vs Cincinnati game, I knew I had to find @PFF_Dalton and @CFBMaxChadwick and thank them for making my job easier. Watching their analysis is a key part of my sideline prep.
When they say Nippert Stadium is right on campus, they mean right on campus. Students are walking through the concourse to and from classes. The Tangeman University Center next door advertises that it is open to fans for additional restrooms and food and beverage options.
Fun Fact: LaVell Edwards Stadium (BYU) is the Big XII’s largest (capacity: 62,073).
Nippert Stadium (Cincinnati) is the Big XII’s smallest (capacity: 38,193).
Gameday Eve from Cincinnati’s Nippert Stadium. Bearcats (7-3) host #11 BYU (9-1) tomorrow at 8pm ET on FOX and the Gridiron Radio Network. gridironradio.com
