That's the sort of energy I want from Koumas. He gave us a glimpse against Tottenham in the cup. Relentless running, genuine aggression, an appetite for the dirty work that can transform the mood of an entire stadium. Iraola called his energy contagious. Quite right, too. And Sunday demands precisely that. City will arrive at Anfield surrounded by controversy, facing an atmosphere that promises to be ferocious from the first whistle.
