Resignation en masse of Sutton PCF due to breakdown of rel’ship with the LA is a sorry state; loss of peer support for carers; loss of independent voice for #SEND families to Ofsted & CQC; loss of valuable lived experience needed for coproduction. Worse outcomes for all…
Another PCF resigning because they can no longer work with their council (@SuttonCouncil). It’s a real shame that the attitude towards parents seems to getting more and more negative right now through no fault of our own @GillianKeegan @david4wantage @helenhayes_
Those for whom it’s convenient to tout a narrative of this as a class issue should take a look here to see how bad outcomes are for pupils with #SEND of all social backgrounds: assets.publishing.service.go…
As a parent supported by @suttonparents, a trustee & in my day job, I see the compound impact of failures of trust & collaboration as evidence of increasing need and worsening opportunity for those already at disadvantage. This is the opposite of progress.
