Polish Member of Parliament Dominik Tarczynski walked through Krakow late at night and showed how calm the city remains.
He said Poland stayed safe because it refused to take in large numbers of migrants.
Tarczynski pointed to France, where streets and businesses have been burning, and said Poland knows what open borders can bring.
Poland rejected the EU’s migrant relocation quotas and did not reverse course even after a court ruling against it.
He told other countries they can stay safe too if they choose to control their borders.
