The Peterborough Petes are saddened to learn of the passing of former TPT Petes forward André Lacroix. A native of Lauzon, Quebec, Lacroix played in 97 games with the TPT Petes from 1964 to 1966, recording an incredible 239 points. Following his time in Peterborough, Lacroix went on to play 325 NHL games with the Philadelphia Flyers, Chicago Black Hawks, and Hartford Whalers. He also cemented his place in hockey history as the WHA’s all-time leading scorer, recording 798 points in 551 games. Our thoughts are with André’s family, friends, and all those who knew him during this difficult time.
