Friday am #agtwitter ??? What are your top two expenses on the farm you would cut or reduce if you felt you had no option but to reduce expenses? Maybe reworded. What’s your lowest ROI expense? Someone asked this at lunch with a couple farmers this week & it has me thinking.

Guess I should answer too. 1. Closer look at Chem programming, generics. 2. careful look at whether fungicide is needed. Especially in canola. 3. Hard look at grain marketing/agronomic services at the farm. 4. Unnecessary field passes. “Is harrowing really necessary”

Beware of a scammer who is responding to farm job ads. Claims to have just left the colony and needing work. Has quite a story. Out of money and trying to get to MB or SK. We were warned after my tweet so didn’t send any $’s. Thanks to the farmer on #agtwitter that warned us!
