"This is where wrath and spite always lead you to"
The net result of voting against Israel is this: Democrats control Cabinet opponents. Under the blue slip system, which Grassley refused to end, Texas and other red states will have Biden-era judges only. Schumer and Jeffries will continue the blank checks while letting The Squad and El-Sayed give Massie-style speeches to clip farm. There won't be any dramatic hearings on intelligence failures October 7th, Gaza, or whatever pet issue you want covered. This is where wrath and spite always lead you to. Even if you believe your disgust with Israel is warranted, even if, for sake of argument, reality is on your side, it doesn't matter. Nothing is going to change on Israel or foreign policy. Domestically, everything is going to get worse. Your children will be hated for their skin color, and the people who celebrated Charlie's death are empowered. You played yourself, and sadly, the country as well.
After considerable soul-searching and consultation with my advisors and loved ones, I have concluded that none of this - not a single damned electron - is Ron Coleman's fault.

Mollie, first love and respect you too. Second, I’m not saying Iran was not a factor, or even a major factor. But it’s not the whole story which is what Vance claims (“The reason we lost is the war”)
Polls show tariffs played an even bigger role. I happen to like tariffs as a tool of coercion (but not as much as a source of revenue). But many who want to blame Iran are silent on tariffs (perhaps because they support tariffs?).
War but no tariffs, do Republicans win? Tariffs but no war, do we win? No trade war with Canada and do we win the four border states? All of it is unknowable. But the Vance narrative that “The reason we lost is the war” is demonstrably false.
And, as I point out in my column today, it was not the Iran *war* but the Iran *ceasefire* and the disastrous MOU Vance negotiated which extended the war that was deadly at the polls. That’s Vance’s initiative. Months of botched negotiations disastrously extended the conflict — and with it the high prices Americans are paying at the pump. If the war ended in April, gas prices could have been below $3 on Election Day.
So Vance trying to blame the war alone is disingenuous. It was bigger than that, and he bungled his job which was to reach a peace deal to end it.

Marc, while 34% said it was "crucial," a whopping additional 40% said it was a "major factor." (Only one out of four said it was not a big deal in their vote.) Of these 74% of Americans who said it was "crucial" or a "major factor," they overwhelmingly voted Democrat in the blowout election. In the same poll of voters who delivered Democrats a blowout victory, 63% said the decision to attack Iran was the "wrong" decision.
It is true that the minority of voters who voted Republican do not share these views, by and large, but the number of voters who shared these views was nowhere near enough to keep Republicans from being wiped out across the country.
Putting our head in the sand about what a devastating policy this was FOR ELECTION OUTCOMES is not helpful. (I understand that many people -- including people I genuinely love and admire -- feel it was worthwhile to suffer these election losses for the higher good of the military outcomes you successfully advocated for.)
As for the claim that internal data showed that former GOP voters who had become non-voters sought a change in the relationship ... that is almost certainly related to Trump's public announcement on election day that the relationship would, in fact, change by the end of the year. (archive.is/skA9E) And a reminder that "change" doesn't have to mean -- and certainly shouldn't mean -- a harmful change to either party -- it ideally means a mutually beneficial change for the sake of strong alliances and peace.

Who told him to not make all CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood chapters terror orgs? Who convinced him that the Qataris are good partners? Who was on their payroll before entering the White House .

If by neoconservatism you mean boots-on-the-ground regime change, it’s been tried and was a disaster.
But if every president who used airstrikes to achieve strategic objectives is now a ‘neocon,’ then you'd have to expand the definition of that term to include every president since Truman, except Jimmy Carter, and in so doing, make the term so vague as to refer to anyone who isn’t either an isolationist or a pacifist.

One of my clients is violently anti-AI.
Every session she comes in with some new AI conspiracy I’ve never even heard of.
One week ChatGPT is draining the world’s water supply. Next week data centers are raising everyone’s electric bills. Yesterday she was telling me AI is going to destroy human relationships.
I just nod, count her reps, and ask follow-up questions to keep her going.
Genuinely one of my favorite parts of the job.
She has no clue of this account (openly has said she hates x) or who I am and it’ll stay that way

I'm done letting these grifters tear apart our country. Mark and avoid these people, and anyone who promotes them/allies with them.
If we are going to win the 2028 election we need to get the enemies out of our camp.

There are probably plenty more I have missed here. Some of these folks may be borderline.
But, in general, the constant onslaught of these folks attacking Trump and his policies, are to blame for the loss of the 2026 midterm.
You can thank them.

Either release audio of the conversation or don't report it.

It’s Orwellian being a secular Jew right now. You have a lot of liberal friends, but you no longer fit the camp.
So you watch from afar as they celebrate the blue wave, convinced they just crushed tyranny and saved America.
And you’re thinking, shit… what they’re actually cheering is the election of a Senator and several Congresspeople whose agenda is to sever American ties with the only Jewish state, and whose ideology is the same socialism our grandparents fled a century ago. All from a party now vowing to “stop AI,”handing China the lead in the technology that will decide the next century.

This montage unfairly mischaracterizes Thiessen’s position and makes it seem like he has been going on television every two weeks for nine months to announce that victory was two weeks away. He has not. He has consistently made the point that major Epic Fury combat operations were wound down in early April, at which time CENTCOM still needed 10–14 more days to finish the assigned target list. His view is that had two more weeks of continued strikes taken all the identified targets off the map, Trump could have declared victory. One can certainly disagree with that assertion, but it has yet to be disproven, because the intensive strikes wound down in April and the sustained high-tempo campaign did not resume afterward.
After seeing a steady stream of self-congratulatory Orthodox Jewish operatives and askonim claim on X that they flipped NY districts for Hochul and the Democrats, @RonColeman, @michaelfragin, and I decided to take a closer look.
This is the preliminary review, and hopefully there will be more sessions to come featuring other insiders, but it looks like the frum community came out overwhelmingly for @NassauExec Blakeman and #Republicans. The national #Bluenami couldn't be overcome in NY had even 100% of the community voted Republican, but with a very, very few exceptions, the Orthodox Jewish vote was very, very Red.
See this video review (with genuinely annoying audio and technical glitches) for some heat maps that may surprise you. Where else are you gonna see voter data broken out by #Yiddish -speaking electoral districts?

This is relevant imo ⬇️… we are under attack & it’s being ignored by too many Americans.
Everyone wants to weigh in with their Most Astute Take™ on the midterms.
But no one wants to even factor in the glaringly obvious: the US has been under the most sustained information attack by foreign states in decades, if not generations.
Foreign adversaries have learned to weaponize the very protections and safeguards – First Amendment, Section 230, privacy laws – that make discourse online possible. They use our shield as their weapon.
These actors have learned that they don't need to "hack Facebook" — as the press claimed Russia did in 2016. (In fact, that had no measurable impact.) They found that they don't need to infiltrate voting systems.
Instead, they have learned to focus on seeding poisonous narratives into virtually every open information system online. It's not only effective, but it's remarkably efficient.
The influence happens in various ways:
1. Bot manipulation – Accounts/shows that see enormous engagement surges on particular issues are motivated to double down on the messaging that the bot swarms respond to.
2. Direct incentives – Money and influence. This comes in the form of corporate financing, advertising deals materially larger than their market value. (Did Hasan Piker go to China just for kicks?)
3. Information poisoning – Bringing fringe narratives into the mainstream by seeding them into open, trusted platforms (e.g. Wikipedia).
4. Discourse radicalization – Actors tied to foreign adversarial states pull the discourse further to the fringe. There is no accountability mechanism, so these actors are free to not just say, but endlessly repeat, the most extreme, toxic, and false claims.
5. Network building – As one example: the Singham Network can build, fund, and run ideological networks with alarming success rates.
These are broad categories; they break down into thousands of smaller tactics.
Further, they innovate. Foreign adversaries have an ability to test and experiment, since state budgets are virtually unlimited relative to the cost.
Even more damagingly, there is almost no mainstream journalistic reporting on, or investigation into, malign influence by foreign actors in information spaces.
Can we name a single public investigation into information operations by US adversaries like China in recent months?
(It's as if, after a decade of "Russia, Russia, Russia," the press simply forgot this is a thing.)
Even in the rare cases where we catch and expose these activities, there is almost never consequences:
Example 1 - Recall the right-wing influencer taking $10m per year from the Russian government, whose posts seemed design to sowed division? Far from consequences, this individual was entirely let off the hook and even invited back into the country.
Example 2 – Al Jazeera's digital network, AJ+, was ordered by DOJ to register as a foreign agent – and simply ignored the order. Were they shut down? Did their operation even slow down?
Example 3 – Chinese operatives work in plain site on social platforms, disclosing their affiliations while dragging the discourse into the anti-American fringe.
Example 4 – The CCP-linked Singham Network, which funds groups like Code Pink, was exposed in recent months and still functions seamlessly.
Example 5 – Influencers and podcasters traveled to Cuba, apparently coordinating with the Cuban government, and are caught doing so. Have any one of them ceased or even decreased their activities?
WHAT REALLY MATTERS
This is the core imbalance: autocratic states running these operations have no – literally zero – checks on their capabilities:
+ They face no domestic journalistic investigation.
+ There is no Oversight Committee demanding answers.
+ There is no FOIA process to produce information.
+ There is no consequence in rare cases of exposure.
Total freedom to maneuver on the information battlefield.
We think, naively, that because these platforms are owned by US companies and regulated by American bodies that they are "ours."
Nothing could be further from the truth.
All I know how to do is keep fighting. 🇺🇸
Ok unless it involves integers. Other than that, though, I don't give up ever ever ever

So, people should understand the voting pattern of the Orthodox Jewish community.
This is the Peoples Republic of Brooklyn. The larger red map is Zeldin, the smaller dark red map is Blakeman. The once strong non-Jewish GOP communities have collapsed in support. The Orthodox Jews, even with its mass migration out of NYC, have still kept it strong, and it has grown!
And we are the ONLY population of Jews that will be around after the next generation or so.
Our voting base gets larger by about 3-4 multiples every decade or so. Think about that. That's 2 presidential election cycles. If trump got 100 votes in 2016, this year he could have gotten 300, 2036, that number can be as high as 7-800
So th next time assholes tell you that us moving in is bad, look how we vote.
Not to mention your property value would skyrocket to percentages that if you made that in the stock market you'd be investigated for insider trading.
