NEW: Yesterday, @CalMatters published a sympathetic profile on a “Fresno father” who was “suddenly” deported by ICE to MX. He told the outlet he’s not a criminal & doesn’t know why he was targeted. However, I’m told by federal sources that he has been deported from the U.S. five times before, he has an active deportation order, he has pending felony aggravated assault charges from November 2025, he has decades old convictions for DUI w/ bodily injury & negligent discharge of a firearm that resulted in prison sentences, and he admitted in a consensual interview w/ ICE that he’s been a member of the Fresno Bulldogs street gang. I’m told his real name is LUIS ALBERTO ARREGUIN-VILLA, and he was previously deported from the US in 1994, 1996, 1998, 2003, and 2005, and that he admitted in an interview that he last crossed illegally into the U.S. in 2005 near San Ysidro, CA. Under federal law, illegal re-entry after deportation is a felony via 8 USC 1326. He has illegally re-entered at least five times. None of this context appears in the Cal Matters report. calmatters.org/justice/2026/…

Today’s @nytimes article on @IlhanMN advances the story, but I believe it to be a “limited hangout” intended to focus the blame for @IlhanMN not being prosecuted for so long on one MN US attorney. The blame should rest on the top Obama DOJ officials in DC, many who stayed to undermine Trump’s first term. And later, Biden’s top DOJ officials in DC.
(Reposting a previously deleted post to correct an error: The US attorney named by the @NYTimes is a Democrat who has since opposed Omar, not a Republican. My defense of him stands: It is unreasonable to suggest that he is responsible for the decision to not prosecute Omar, and I suspect he is being thrown under the bus.) The @NYTimes, once again, published a story about @IlhanMN without including any of the long-public evidence against @IlhanMN. By doing so, the @NYTimes was able to craft a narrative that chiefly blames the 2016 US Attorney in MN. He is the only source they named in the article. The @NYTimes described its *unnamed* sources in two ways that shield higher officials in the Obama Administration's disgraceful DOJ -- which, at the time, was targeting Trump with Russiagate -- from specific blame: 1. The @NYTimes sources are described as apolitical: "[C]urrent and former officials, most of whose law enforcement careers spanned several presidential administrations." Of course, this description directs the reader away from top Obama Administration officials -- who would have been making the call on prosecuting @IlhanMN. We now know that many remained embedded in Trump's DOJ, and undermined his agenda throughout his first term. 2. The @NYTimes lets those top officials off the hook by alluding to them as stand-up prosecutors whose hands were tied by the letter of the law: "[T]hat case stalled chiefly because prosecutors concluded that the potential crime, a felony, fell outside a five-year statute of limitations." Of course, as everyone who has read the long-public evidence knows, a stunning range of potentially chargeable instances of fraud -- all originating with the father fraudulently bringing Ilhan into America with a false name and their false "Omar" family, which has no statute of limitations -- were immediately evident in 2016. Just for one example: Does anyone find it plausible that a truly apolitical DOJ would shrug its shoulders while holding evidence that MN was about to elect a candidate who must have perjured herself all over her candidate-filing paperwork? Ridiculous. An insult to the @NYTimes readership. Here's the truth: No, the MN US attorney in the story is not the person who deserves all the blame. The DC Obama DOJ officials and other law enforcement officials who remained to undermine Trump's first term are to blame. When Trump's second term began, he fired many of the Executive Branch law enforcement officials who intended to undermine the 2024 election results. THAT'S WHEN HSI FINALLY CALLED ME. They were particularly interested in this article (linked below) that I published back in 2019. That's the key article which I believe gets any objective reader beyond reasonable doubt. Folks: Please just read the following X article I posted last week. It includes a list of all 25 links to the @IlhanMN investigative articles written by myself, Scott Johnson, and Preya Samsundar from 2016 to 2020. If you finish the 25 articles, I expect you won't have any questions remaining about @IlhanMN's past. And I expect you won't have any remaining questions about how the Democratic Party, the @NYTimes, and the rest of the media managed to keep you in the dark for 10 years. If you do, please ask them below. powerlineblog.com/archives/2……

NEW UNDERCOVER INVESTIGATION: I spent several months investigating a nationwide network of advocacy organizations and medical providers helping families continue medically transitioning their children in defiance of state laws. My investigation centers on Campaign for Southern Equality (CSE), an LGBT advocacy nonprofit that connects families with cooperating medical providers across the country. CSE has distributed over $1 million in travel grants to more than 1,200 families, plus another $1 million to partner organizations, including funding for medical appointments. With CSE's knowledge, providers in its referral network told me the ways that they circumvent state restrictions on gender-transition treatments for minors. Some discussed using alternative diagnosis codes, such as “endocrine disorder,” to facilitate prescriptions or insurance coverage. Others described mailing medications directly to families' homes or sending prescriptions to pharmacies in states where these interventions are banned. Providers also discussed conducting virtual appointments with patients in those states. Others required patients to cross state lines for telehealth but did not appear to have a reliable method for verifying their physical location. My primary undercover scenario involved an 11-year-old girl in Tennessee who had only recently begun identifying as nonbinary, with no long history of gender-related distress. The providers I shared this scenario with seemed eager to treat her. Many indicated that puberty blockers could be prescribed after an initial evaluation lasting just one to several hours. My investigation uncovered practices that may violate state and federal laws and pose medical risks to children living hundreds or thousands of miles from their treating physicians. U nder the current circumstances, after decades of effectively open border and mass immigration, both legal and illegal (with massive fraud in our “legal” immigration regime), it’s reasonable to conclude what earlier generations of Americans concluded: that what we need is a near-moratorium on immigration, together with mass deportations and a closed border. In 1924 we effectively ended immigration for 40 years, to allow time for the waves of southern and eastern Europeans who had emigrated en masse in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to assimilate and acculturate. thefederalist.com/2026/10/29…

With all due respect, “personhood” is not a magical trump card that overrides the basic principles of the republican form of government. One cannot conclude from the bare fact of personhood that anyone and everyone has a right to be counted in the census, to vote, or to stand for office.
U.S. bishops are opposing proposed Census Bureau rule changes for the 2030 census, arguing that excluding noncitizens without lawful permanent resident status from the apportionment count would effectively deny them recognition as persons. ewtnnews.com/world/us/u-s-bi…

A Maine woman claims a videographer told her she would be appearing in an ad for Sen. Susan Collins... She was shocked when the ad came out, and it was for Troy Jackson. "If they're willing to mislead me, how far will they go."

BREAKING via NYT: In 2016, the Obama administration investigated Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and found “some evidence that Ms. Omar had entered into a sham marriage with a man suspected of being her brother”, but the case and potential felony charges stalled because of a 5 year statute of limitations. nytimes.com/2026/10/29/us/im…

Is this you @AbdulElSayed in Colombia in 2022? It’s a private retreat including Intuitive Solutions, the fundraising and contracting organization for at least five credibly accused Muslim Brotherhood offshoots and other terror-affiliates. Is that you grinning in a photo with the CEO of ICNA Relief, which has been criticized for its connections to Islamic terror groups? h/t to @Govt_Acct_Inst Director of Research @JeddMcFatter for this find.

It’s the height of hypocrisy and cynicism for you to post this, senator. The only reason we Alaskans are in this mess is because you and your cronies foisted ranked-choice voting on our state—all so you could avoid a GOP primary challenge we all know you would lose. “Decoy Dan” might have been Peltola’s scheme, but you made it possible. You rigged Alaska’s entire electoral system just so you could cling to power. Pathetic.
While some may try to write this off as just how politics works now, ballot-stacking should have no place in our electoral process. Run and win on your merits: your views, your policy ideas, and your accomplishments. By contrast, recruiting candidates to manipulate the field and influence voting outcomes is simply wrong. Alaskans deserve the honest truth from Mary and her campaign—what has been revealed is a pattern of lies and coverups and a culture of deception that belongs nowhere in our elections or among our elected officials.

BREAKING: Colleague @davidspunt reports via two sources familiar that there is an ongoing DOJ "aggressive criminal investigation" into Daniel J. Sullivan appearing on the ballot for US Senate in Alaska, and the investigation has intensified in the wake of the bombshell NYT report today. DOJ sources tell David that multiple grand jury subpoenas will be issued in the coming hours and days, and there are preservation orders to cell phone companies that are being prepared regarding text messages and emails that may build a timeline for how Daniel J. Sullivan was placed on the ballot. The investigation is being handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Alaska and federal prosecutors are interested in potential charges relating to the depravation of rights of Alaska voters. The investigation is expected to go beyond Election Day and has been underway for several months.

Cleta Mitchell declined multiple requests to speak with ProPublica for this article but occasionally answered emails. “Hahahaha!!!” she wrote in response to one email asking for an interview. propublica.org/article/cleta…

A lot of focus has been on how the lawfare Slotkin promised to young Trump staffers is bad for our country. While that is true, there are also legal implications to her comments that will make it harder for Democrats to defend their oversight of the Trump admin before the Supreme Court. I’ll explain below. thefederalist.com/2026/10/27…

This hit piece against the amazing @CletaMitchell will not deter our efforts to secure our elections from foreign interference. Our elections are for American citizens ONLY. We're proud to work with Cleta and will continue to do so!
New: Conservative powerbroker Cleta Mitchell has raised a grassroots army to transform American voting systems and worked closely with the administration to enact her plans. No one besides Trump himself has done more to overhaul elections. propub.li/4BNTSRN

My friend and fellow parishioner Dee Hardtke was laid to rest today. Beautiful funeral service with her children, grandchildren, and greatgrands in attendance. We became friends through Altar Guild and many committees. When I got married, she gave me the advice, "It is better to be kind than to be right." Still working on that, but I love how much she taught me. jeffersonfuneralchapel.com/o…
