Use strong BIP-39 passphrase. 🔒🔑
This is a major signal that all wallet projects need to push better standards to protect users if they are not already doing so.
A big thank you to the Samourai Wallet guys for pointing this out a long time ago. 🙏
When creating a wallet they encouraged a strong BIP-39 passphrase in addition to your 12-word seed phrase.
Setting standards like that saved a lot of people over the last 48 hours.
Many asking what to use instead of Coldcard after the major vulnerability was used steal millions in bitcoin.
The @FoundationHQ team is professional, customer support is some of the best in the industry, and they're great with educating users.

DOJ arrested BTC devs on unlawful charges to spook the industry. Privacy is "shady".
Without it, your safety is at risk. Anyone can see BTC you have in self-custody, and your location.
Will @start9labs & @umbrel devs be arrested for providing Samourai's BTC privacy code?

Unfortunately @Keonne has been moved to the Oklahoma federal transfer center, and we have no idea how long he’ll be held in limbo there. He is without a mattress, forced to endure lights on 24/7, and housed alongside mixed security levels with no proper separation.
The Bureau of Prisons is supposed to uphold humane treatment standards for all inmates, even those just passing through. Basic dignity like a bed, restful darkness, and safe classification shouldn’t be optional. Why are these minimum conditions being disregarded?
