Sowing on raised beds is an innovative sustainable farming technique that saves thousands of liters of water. Under our Regenerative Agriculture program, we have been introducing this method to our farmers across Punjab. Farmer Harjeet Singh from Village Lasoi, District Malerkotla, is one of the many who adopted this bed-sowing method. He is not only saving significant amount of water and cutting down input costs, but also achieving higher crop yield and better profits. Already, 3,752 farmers have joined us in adopting sustainable farming practices. Share this reel with your friends and family involved in farming across rural Punjab. #SustainableAgriculture #Punjab | @AgriGoI

When all waste management pits in Mullanpur village, Ludhiana district, reached capacity and the waste collector resigned, waste management activities came to a halt. To reactivate operations, the @RoundglassFdn team coordinated with the Gram Panchayat and district administration to address the challenges. The Waste Management Unit (WMU) was cleaned and a new waste collector was appointed, enabling waste collection to resume, with 106 households covered under the program. This effort highlights how collaboration with local authorities and timely action can help restore essential village services and support cleaner, more sustainable communities. #RoundglassFoundation #WasteManagementProgram #RuralDevelopment #CleanVillages #SwachhBharat @swachhbharat | @moefcc

In Chuharpur, Punjab, 145 out of 170 households are now covered under Roundglass Foundation’s Waste Management Program, marking an important step toward building a more sustainable village. From distributing dustbins and encouraging waste segregation at source to training waste collectors in segregated collection and processing, the focus is on making responsible waste management a part of everyday life. The effort also extends to schools, where children are learning the importance of proper waste disposal and sustainable practices from an early age. By bringing together households, waste collectors and the next generation, we are working to build a community-led waste management system that can create meaningful change. #RuralDevelopment #CommunityParticipation #WasteSegregation #SustainableVillages #CleanAndGreenPunjab @swachhbharat | @moefcc

Quizzing children in Pahuwind village of Tarn Taran whether they know their wet waste from dry. Spreading awareness is the first step in setting up a waste management system. All our waste management projects begin with awareness camps in the villages. 95,526 households across 487 villages are now segregating their waste. @swachhbharat | @moefcc

Punjab’s agricultural future depends on how sustainably we use our natural resources today. On World Food Day 2026, Kahan Singh Pannu, Lead – Regenerative Agriculture at Roundglass Foundation, highlights the need to rethink farming practices, adopt water-efficient methods, and protect groundwater to sustain food production for generations to come. Building a more resilient agricultural system begins with growing food in ways that work with nature. #WorldFoodDay2026 #WorldFoodDay #WorldFoodDay #FoodSecurity #SustainableAgriculture #WaterConservation #Sustainability

On the occasion of the #InternationalDayOfRuralWomen, influencer Attar Kaur visited our Yoga Center in village Bhattian, Ludhiana district. She had a heart-to-heart conversation with the women at the center. For the first time in their lives these women thought about themselves when they started coming to our Yoga Center. Attar once again highlighted the importance of looking after oneself, something that doesn’t come naturally to our rural women. #RoundglassFoundation #RuralWomen #RuralWomenDay #Punjab

Honored to have planted 1,000 trees in the name of rapper, singer, and song writer @TheRajaKumari. We are a big fan of her style of music where she blends Indian classical elements with Western hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music. As these saplings grow into healthy, sturdy trees, may she meet more success and fame. Many thanks to @TarannumThind for giving us this opportunity with every episode of hers. It’s a pleasure to join hands with you. #RoundglassFoundation #TheBillionTreeProject

@RoundglassFdn was delighted to be the Green Partner at Chandigarh Marathon & Wellness 2026, organized by @chd_life on October 10. The marathon was flagged off by @nishantyadavIAS, Deputy Commissioner, and Abhay Sharma, Sr. Lead, RGF Operations, bringing together nearly 5,000 participants and attendees. For us, the event was an opportunity to take our work beyond the communities we serve in rural Punjab and introduce our vision of environmental sustainability and community-led change to a wider audience across the Tricity. We thank The Chandigarh Life for bringing us on board and creating an opportunity to connect with people who share our commitment to a healthier, greener future. Here's a glimpse of the day!

Influencer Attar Kaur visited our Sports Center in Machhiwara Sahib village in Ludhiana. She spoke to the young athletes training there and encouraged the girls to dream big. It was a heart-warming interaction where the girls soaked in all the advice coming their way. She spoke to them about the need to travel and see different parts of the world. The girls will surely remember her words in adulthood and give-in to the travelling bug. Thank you, Attar Kaur, it was really refreshing to have you in our Sports Center to meet our young girls. #RoundglassFoundation #1Girl1Football #VSF2026 #YouthDevelopment @SunnySingh | @IndianFootball | @MinistryWCD | @Media_SAI

Inderjeet Singh from Rajinder Nagar village planted a mini forest to give shelter to birds, butterflies, small animals, and nurture the local ecosystem. When we support nature, nature brings peace back into our lives. Let’s do our part to plant, protect, and preserve our native trees. #RoundglassFoundation #TheBillionTreeProject @SunnySingh | @UNDP_India | @moefcc | @UNEP

@RoundglassFdn organized a multi-stakeholder workshop on Distant Planting of Sugarcane at the Agricultural Cooperative Staff Training Institute, Jalandhar, led by Mr. Kahan Singh Pannu, Regenerative Agriculture Lead. The workshop brought together representatives from all 15 sugar mills across Punjab, Cane Commissioner Dr. Amrik Singh, CDOs from DOAFW, Dr. Gulzar Singh Sanghera from the Sugarcane Research Institute, Kapurthala, and around 50 progressive sugarcane farmers. The gathering enabled stakeholders to exchange knowledge and field experiences and explore practical approaches to advancing regenerative agriculture and sustainable sugarcane cultivation. Bringing farmers, researchers and industry stakeholders together is a step toward more sustainable, resilient and resource-efficient farming systems. #SustainableAgriculture #Punjab #SoilHealth @PAU_LDH | @AgriGoI
