Lamprey in the Mountain Water River in Co. Monaghan today. This little waterbody is one of the jewels of the North East, still at high status in it's upper reaches. @theCANNproject @WatersProgramme @endafieldsedu @ResearchIFI @epaecology @forum_wetlands @cfes_dkit @CERIS_ITSligo – at Monaghan, Ireland

Still amazing there are people out there who think asking a doping question to an athlete who missed multiple drug tests and got banned for it is bullying/harassment. What is it about the cheats that they admire so much?

The race was won on the anchor leg. But it was also won long before. By doing what she did, Rhasidat Adeleke died a death in the home straight, but she ensured Ireland's chief rivals died a far bigger one. Adeleke went 22.33 & 27.20 Klaver: 22.37 & 28.37 irishexaminer.com/sport/othe…

It’s like the All-Irelands for #Climate today @OldGroundHotel Ennis where all 31 Local Authority Climate Action Plans are being analysed and discussed by those who put in the hard work to develop them. Now the real action begins - implementing them so they succeed locally.

Bloke from the BBC decided to give one of the former colonies a jolly good lecture on carbon emissions. The reply, from the president of Guyana to the paternalistic hypocrisy & double standards of The West, is truly priceless.
