Why I’m Building The Vault. I didn't start The Vault because I wanted to create another astrology page. Honestly, the deeper I got into astrology, the more I realized that I wasn't really interested in memorizing what every placement “means.” I became interested in the person behind the placement. Why does someone crave control? Why does another person need freedom at all costs? Why do some people constantly reinvent themselves? Why do certain people spend years trying to understand themselves? Why do we repeat patterns we consciously say we want to break? Those questions pulled me deeper into psychology, human behavior, symbolism, and eventually, the relationship between all of them. That's where astrology became much more interesting to me. I don't see a Saturn placement and immediately think, “this person is restricted.” I want to ask how that symbolism might manifest. I don't see Pluto and automatically label someone “traumatized.” I want to understand intensity, transformation, power, identity, and the psychological patterns surrounding it. That's the kind of astrology I want to explore. The Vault is my attempt to build a home for that exploration. A place for astrology beyond the surface-level interpretations. Books. Guides. Readings. Research. Tools. And eventually, new frameworks for understanding astrology itself. One of those developing frameworks is what I'm calling Vaultian Astrology. It's still evolving. And I'm okay with that. I don't want to build something that tells people what to believe. I want to build something that makes people curious enough to question, study, observe, and think for themselves. I'm documenting that journey here not just as the founder of The Vault, but as someone still learning, testing ideas, changing my mind, and discovering where this system can go. Sometimes you’re not confused about what’s happening. You’re confused about why it keeps happening. And that’s a very different problem. Astrology gets interesting when you stop looking for descriptions of yourself and start looking for the patterns underneath them.

There’s a difference between being known and being understood. People can know your personality, your habits, even your story. And still never meet the parts of you that only appear when you feel safe. That’s where the deeper layers begin.

Sometimes you don’t miss the person you used to be. You miss how certain everything felt when you were them. Growth can be uncomfortable because you’re learning how to exist without the identity that once made sense of your life.

Self awareness can become its own trap. You can understand your wounds. Recognize your patterns. Know exactly what you’re doing. And still repeat the same thing. Understanding yourself is not the same as changing yourself.

The most important parts of you might be the parts you rarely show. The reactions you suppress. The needs you minimize. The desires you rationalize away. Not everything hidden is unknown. Sometimes you know exactly what’s there. You just haven’t learned how to look at it yet.
