My sister (not related by blood) just decided not to use any social media platform anymore.
She deleted all her social media handles.
She's not on WhatsApp, not on Facebook.
No tiktok, no X, no Instagram.
You can only call her if you need to tell her anything.
She said she did it for her mental health.
It's more than 2 years now.
Posted to a secondary school in a small town during NYSC and met boys who had okada and some even had wives at home.
They would carry passengers in the morning, come to school, then go back to work after closing.
Some of them would bring raw yams and maize for the teachers.
At first you’d be careful on how to even address them or talk to them.
Imagine feeling somehow before calling your students by name🤣🤣🤣
But after a while you realise they’re just responsible youths who treat school as a side hustle.

What do you think about giving testimony in church especially when you get a huge breakthrough?
Is it a Yes or a No for you?

The word "salary" originates from the Latin word salarium, which historically referred to "an allowance given to Roman soldiers
to buy salt."
It all make sense now 😭

Even some of my siblings might not know this because I’m the only one that schooled in Lagos.
When we lost our Dad and he was buried in the compound, for months after the burial,it was hard for my mum to walk in the compound on her own.
When she returned from work at night, she would stand at the gate and call me to come escort her in.
So…I kind of understand that lady.

My son woke up yesterday around 11:30pm, he met his dad in the sitting room and he greeted “good morning sir”, then he went straight to take his toys 🤣
His dad told him it’s not morning yet that he should go back to sleep, you could see the sadness on his face. These kids no just get any worries 🤣🤣🤣

There's Money in transportation business o
The bus I boarded yesterday told me casually they spend ₦35,000 on fuel to and fro(From Abeokuta to Lagos and Lagos to Abeokuta).
It is a 18 sitter bus, they charge ₦3000 per head.
3000×18=₦54,000 per trip
To & Fro=₦108,000
Fuel cost= ₦35,000
₦108,000-₦35,000=₦73,000
Let's say agbéró and co =₦23,000
₦73,000-₦23,000=₦50,000
₦50,000 profit for a complete round trip.
If they were able to do 2-3 round in a day that's like ₦100,000 to ₦150,000 daily
Weekly is about ₦700,000 -₦1,050,000
These people get money o !

You should be starting your weekend with Ikeola yogurt.
A yogurt for all💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Send a dm now to place your orders
A woman was organising a networking event when her friend suggested adding Ikeola Treats to the refreshments. She wasn't convinced, but decided to give it a try.
During the event, one guest tasted the Greek Yoghurt and immediately asked for the vendor's contact. Before the meeting ended, two other guests had requested it too 😍
She spent days planning the event, but the yoghurt became one of the unexpected highlights. Sometimes, it's the little details that leave the biggest impression.
For Birthdays, weddings, picnics or corporate events, let us make your refreshments memorable 🥰
Greek Yoghurt
500ml - 4000
1 litre - 7500
2 litres - 14500
Milky yoghurt

Some employers may pretend to be happy about your progress, but deep down, they’re uncomfortable seeing you grow beyond the position they hired you for.
Why do some employers find it difficult to genuinely celebrate the growth of their employees?
Don't tell your employer that you have a side hustle.
When I was working at a soap company, I told my boss that I was going to quit to focus on my fish farm. This man looked at me and said that I wouldn't succeed. Then he added, "So, you're starting your own business? It won't go well."
I was shocked.
Before then, if I told him that I wanted to go and buy fish feed by 4:30 p.m. because the fish feed sellers closed by 5 p.m., he wouldn't grant me permission.
Since we closed by 5 p.m., I had to sneak out around 4:35 p.m. to rush to the market. This was how I managed until I left.
He wasn't happy that I was leaving to start my own business. He wanted me to continue working for him.
Most employers are like this.
Don't tell your employer that you're building a side hustle. They might not support the idea.

I'm +1 today 💃💯💃
I'm happy because of life, nothing else because this year took more than it gave me, my job, my only son and the woman that stands as a mother to me for years now,
I don't even know if to celebrate or just let it go because I really planned to celebrate this year birthday with my son and my daughters but here I am 🥺
I just want to appreciate God and everyone who has been and still here for me, adding another year to myself, thank you all so much, I'm so grateful 🙏🙏
