I work hard, pay high tax, expect value for money and efficiency. I dont leave my front door open, do you? What is wrong with sensible common sense policies?

🚨BREAKING: The historic Limoges town hall has just completely collapsed after far-left rioters set it on fire It was built in 1876. It survived World Wars. It did not survive modern France.

CUCKOO CUCKOO CUCKOO.....

What kind of a world will we end up living where actions don't have consequences any longer because we can simply blame it on mental health? How about some grit, determination, zero self entitlement and full self responsibility?

Only an idiot would scale a 12ft fence in a Zoo to jump into an enclosure with a Tiger. Only an idiot would then try to reason with the Tiger by waving his finger at it. What outcome did he expect. Actions and consequences. Self responsibility. You can't defend STUPID.

Why didn't they just allow the British people a vote on every treaty ratified. If that had been done, surely our relationship the EU would have been democratic from British voters? This is a question never asked. Brexit would have never been a thing.
Nice to see O’Brien ignoring the real reason we ended up with the Brexit we got. As Shadow Brexit Secretary, Starmer set six tests for any deal, including the demand for the “exact same benefits” as full single market and customs union membership — a bar no realistic exit deal could clear. Labour then voted down May’s agreement three times, backed second-referendum options, cross-party moves that forced repeated delays and blocked no-deal. Those efforts stretched the process out for years, raised the political cost of a cleaner break, and helped shape the poor excuse outcome we actually got.

Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s play-book: 1️⃣ Make a wild claim on a podcast that Russia compromised Brexit (zero evidence provided). 2️⃣ Backtrack as soon as challenged in Parliament. Imagine thinking millions of ordinary Britons needed Putin’s permission to vote for national sovereignty. Embarrassing. 🇬🇧
In a truly extraordinary attempt to rewrite history, Andy Burnham denies his own words while simultaneously throwing the left-wing commentariat under the bus. There’s just one rather inconvenient problem: he was filmed saying them. Extraordinary stuff.

The “be kind” crowd managed to invent an entire case history in real time. He was non-verbal. ❌ He was deaf.❌ He had the mind of a toddler.❌ He’d escaped carers.❌ He was “conversing in Makaton.”❌ He was profoundly autistic. ❌ None of this was established and the evidence suggests none of it is true. It was repeated because it was useful. He actually traveled to the Zoo himself, and paid to get himself. When the facts come out, certain disability advocates are potentially going to look very foolish.
Police have not publicly identified the man killed at Yorkshire Wildlife Park or confirmed any details about a disability or medical condition. No official statement mentions autism or a handicap. That circulating narrative that being autistic somehow means you are mentally incapable of knowing a tiger (or lion) is not a pet is condescending, ableist, and factually false. Autism is a spectrum. The vast majority of autistic people understand basic cause-and-effect, predator-prey dynamics, and the difference between a domestic cat and a 200–300 kg apex predator that can kill you in seconds. They know fences, barriers, and warning signs exist for a reason. Treating the diagnosis as a blanket excuse for ignoring obvious lethal danger reduces autistic adults to perpetual children who cannot grasp reality. Witness accounts and circulating footage describe an adult man who spoke, asked people for a photo with the tiger, appeared agitated, and deliberately entered the enclosure. He was not a non verbal toddler who wandered through an unlocked gate by accident. Even if autism were later confirmed , it would not erase agency or the basic knowledge that large carnivores are dangerous. Many autistic people work, drive, manage money, and correctly assess risks every day. The idea that the diagnosis automatically erases that capacity is a myth that both underestimates autistic adults and is routinely weaponised online to reframe reckless or intentional acts as pure victimhood. Sympathy for the family is appropriate, but I don’t have any empathy for this poor Man who has died. Inventing an unverified medical narrative to claim “he couldn’t possibly have known better” is not.

Moral of the story. Don't climb over 12ft fences and jump into an enclosed tiger pan. End of story. Save me the mental health platitudes. Millions of us get out of bed with many struggles and we just get on with it. Because we have no choice.

According to the latest police updates on the tiger incident, there were no carers, he was alone, drove himself to the zoo. Surely somebody who couldn't recognise danger couldn't possibly have a driving licence?

Amazing publicity for him and the vile left exposed. Again.
Criminal damage, violence, and threats in Brighton to @MontgomeryToms and his debate stand This is what the left justifies and qualifies.

This is just not true. As soon as I became foreign secretary I asked the security services the same question and they replied that there was no evidence of any successful interference in the 2016 referendum, by Russia or any other power. Either the security services have changed their view - which would be very odd - or Burnham is lying about what he has been told. After all Starmer was in power for two years and had access to exactly the same information. theguardian.com/technology/2…
