College athletes put their bodies on the line every day—and generate billions of dollars for their universities, conferences, and the NCAA.
The Protect College Sports Act pulls the rug out from under them.
I will keep fighting alongside college athletes until they get the rights and protections they deserve.
Senator Kennedy has a point. If the Protect College Sports Act becomes law, just remember: elected officials voted to limit compensation to American workers (including American workers of private employers).
I spent four years as a credentialed media member covering the Heat. LeBron was there three, and gone to Cleveland my last year. Media attendance was like night and day between years three and four.

Last night I saw @JonBatiste at the Hollywood Bowl. It was a couple hours of pure joy. Batiste is a genius—how many instruments he plays in one show is unbelievable. With his voice he often says, “I don’t know you, but I love you.” Imagine a world where all held that sentiment.

The US Department of Commerce touts on their website that sports law Professor Matthew Mitten (Marquette) supports the PCSA. What they don't tell you is the following full-time sports law professors, among others, seem to publicly oppose it (alphabetically):

Senator Murphy knows what he’s doing. If this language is inserted, either college athletes gain the right to unionize while universities get an antitrust exemption, or passage of the Protect College Sports Act fails.
