Think tanks - the greedy ones at the top who continue to bleed the public dry for their own gains.
Never shall their profit margins suffer, the poorer people get, the richer they get.
"Painful" years ahead, think tanks warn, as living standards set to fall

In 2015, the UK introduced the 5p charge for plastic carrier bags. Minimum wage was £6.70 an hour, meaning you could buy 134 bags with an hour's work.
Fast forward to 2026. Minimum wage has increased to £12.71, but carrier bags now cost around 40p each.
That same hour of work now gets you just 31 bags.
So the price of carrier bags has gone up 700%, while wages have only increased by 89%.
If minimum wage had kept up with the price of plastic bags, we'd now be earning £53.60 an hour.
Even plastic carrier bags are outperforming wages in this country.
We're getting robbed.
Degenerate failed abortions at it again
🚨 VANDALISM AT LIPHOOK UNITED FC – PLEASE HELP 🚨
We are extremely disappointed and angry to report that our dugouts at the Rec have been damaged following an incident this evening at approximately 5pm.
We understand that at least three boys and two girls were involved.
Did you witness anything? Do you recognise those involved?
If you have any information, no matter how small, please get in touch with us.
If you recognise these individuals and they are your children, we urge you to come forward. They need to take responsibility for their actions, and we would much rather this was addressed directly and responsibly.
We will be reviewing our CCTV footage and will be reporting the incident to the police.
Quite frankly, we are fed up with our club being repeatedly targeted by mindless vandalism.
Liphook United FC is run entirely by volunteers. We give up our own time to provide a place for children and adults in our community to play football, develop and enjoy the game.
We are not a club with endless funds. Every penny raised goes back into the club, our facilities and our players. We simply cannot afford to keep replacing and repairing things that are deliberately damaged by others.
These dugouts are there for our players, coaches and teams to use. They are not there to be vandalised.
Please, if you know anything, speak up.
I'll be there, will try my best to look forward to it.
That's the weekend 👊

Maybe this on Sunday, get Bletchley Spoons done, I'll decide on the day.
Looks like my blog visit to Watchet Lane 3G will have to wait, Kidlington have forfeited both games by the looks of it. Maybe Leatherhead revisit instead and tick the Spoons. Though daft 1 pm kickoff makes it tricky with finishing at 12.

We've waited patiently for a plan to end neoliberalism. We won't wait anymore.
We need rent controls
We need a wealth tax
We need *serious* cuts to energy bills
Instead it's a few pence off gherkins & a payout which the experts say won't touch the sides on energy bills.
Just one of a number of utterly dislikeable characters in #Corrie at the moment.
Best game / day out on this day a decade ago. The homemade pie at @GooleAFC was sensational and I saw The Lancashire Hotpots in Leeds after.

Tesco are making £4bn a year in profit.
About 50% of their staff are on Universal Credit.
Why don't we crackdown on this unneeded benefit for billionaires?

Tomorrow, when you see the front pages of the right-wing press telling you how dreadful the budget was, remember their track record.
Also remember that right-wingers won’t ever be happy with any budget that doesn’t push down on those at the bottom to benefit those at the top.

Lowe is a millionaire, born into a life of immense privilege. Instead of being grateful that he's never had to choose between heating and eating he's furious that the government is helping people who do, by taxing people like him. Incredibly, he also thinks you should vote for him.
I think it's fair to say that Thameside WFC are having a difficult season, kudos to them for fulfilling the fixtures when results are like this.
Great goal, I was there.

Deary me. He’s got no business hitting it from there.

The replies to this are mental, the country is an absolute shit hole.
Energy companies and fuel companies are crippling people for the past 3 years and longer, but there’s an outrage over this. Get to fuck.
Quite a cool offer, though I'd imagine most southern hoppers have been.
Good to see clubs with ingenious marketing ideas though. Clubs deserve fans more when they make the effort to engage.
