Before LinkedIn, digital marketing and social media, there was "Russell Knows".
Back in October 1996, Russell Investments took a big step in how it introduced itself to a wider audience with the launch of our first national advertising campaign.
After 18 months of research, planning and testing, "Russell Knows" made its debut with a two-page advertisement in Pensions & Investments. The campaign was designed to showcase our investment research, manager expertise and global capabilities to a broader institutional audience.
Nearly 30 years later, it's fun to look back at how we told our story before digital marketing became part of everyday life, and revisit the creativity, ideas and people who got our name and services out into the world.
