Gio has been tremendous. Extremely steady and consistently making passes that open up opportunity for others. I am a firm believer that much of what has made this camp so fluid and free flowing in terms of the attack is just having Gio out there. The ball moves off his feet quickly when it should, he gets on the half turn when it’s needed, balls switch through him with purpose, he combines really well in the rondo situations to break through pressure, he can find the final ball, he makes intelligent runs when needed. It’s not flashy stuff and much of it people miss while looking at their phones but when on form this guy changes the game for us.
