VAR should be used for simulation just like it is for violent conduct.
This is shameless cheating.
The reason you get absolute bollocks like Mac Allister diving is because referees only give things when players make the most of it.
If this is a pen, then give it. Isak shouldn’t have to “make more of it”

This is exactly how this situation should be dealt with.
Well done to the England coach & his players. Leave the field. Dismiss any opinions of the opposition coach.
No place for it in football.
Spoken by a person who has never played Sunday league football.

French giants Bordeaux relegated to sixth tier for financial irregularities......and this was for just over €10m.
Take note, FA and the Prem. Do the right thing!

Who’s in charge of the match day playlist at Anfield now? The playlist against City should be full of songs about cheating:
Shaggy - It Wasn’t Me
Fleetwood Mac - Little Lies
The Eagles - Lyin Eyes
Amy Winehouse - You Know I’m No Good
Any others?
This is a very very valid point being made very well.
The impact the professional game has on the lower end of the pyramid is immeasurable. The FA and the PGMOL need to do everything they can to ensure it is a positive one

I've got a lot to say about this, strap in for a multi tweet rant!
Since day 1 of becoming a ref, it's been drilled in to use firstly player management but then cards and sin bins to manage dissent. Zero tolerance to some things like protected characteristics, but strict

What am I seeing here?
Red player grabs blue players shirt, rags him a wee bit then throws himself to the ground?
Then the gaffer appeals for a pen?
Football is back! Deary me 🤦🏻♂️

I once had the chance to meet the legendary South Korean soccer juggling world record holder, Hee Yong Woo (Mr. Woo). The guy could literally juggle a soccer ball on his head for over 5 hours straight.
Naturally, I was curious. I turned to his translator and asked, "Is he also a great soccer player?"
The translator didn't even blink. He just looked at me and said: "No, he's terrible."
It was a hilarious reality check.
It turns out, being a world-class entertainer who can manipulate a ball like a magician doesn't automatically mean you can read a tactical 11v11 match! ⚽️😂
