We seem to be completely clueless when we get into the opposition’s half. No zip to our passing, our decision making is dreadful, too many players taking too long on the ball and absolutely no creativity to feed our front line. It just isn’t working 😞 #BristolCity
Game going to plan so far I think.
Think Bell needs to come off, he’s not shown enough in that half for me sadly. Ballard will work their defence harder like Tolaj has been doing.
Twine doing Twine things mind 😮💨
Don’t mind Bell getting a chance tonight. Still has a fair amount of naysayers in our fanbase. Hope he comes up with the goods again
Absolutely heartbreaking. RIP.
Heart goes out to his loved ones.
That goalkeeper needs banning and charging with manslaughter.
Terrible news from Spain: Tenerife player Jesus de Miguel has sadly passed away.
The striker has could not overcome the serious consequences of the incident suffered during the match against FC Andorra.
A devastating loss for Tenerife and whole football world.
Prayers and thoughtd go out to his family, friends, teammates, and everyone at CD Tenerife during this difficult time.
Rest in peace. 🕊️
Only his 2nd goal of the season btw.
New team, same story.
Could be a sliding doors win for the season that. We saw Skubala start slow at Lincoln, then go on to be a league force for a season and a half. Really hope it’s the same for us and we kick on now. Next 2 homes games are gonna be a massive test 💪
For years I’ve wanted us to anthem-ise ‘One for the Bristol City’. Belt it out before kick off every game and let the team know we’re behind them.
The repetitive “away away away away Bristol City” doesn’t do it for me
If I’m being positive, Skubala was in a similar situation at Lincoln a couple of seasons ago where the losses started to stack up, and he did turn it round culminating in a season and half of dominance. Really hoping it’s a similar situation here
Ain’t it weird how Pearson had a shocking home form but was a vastly more popular City manager than Manning who made Ashton Gate a fortress? Bristol fucking City man 😂 hopefully Skubala turns our home form around soon 👍
A very meh half. We’ve been far too weak in and out of possession and Charlton look sharper. But, gotta comment on the ref because he’s been a disgrace. The pen was obvious, but their GK should’ve been sent off and not booking Skipp for grabbing Twine’s foot is a shambles.
Yu should’ve buried it but it’s definitely a foul, FK and possibly a red card for Okonkwo. Awful refereeing to give absolutely nothing.
Tanner has to get closer and stop Campbell from cutting in on his right foot there for me. Such a shit goal to concede.
Williams been like a new signing this season ain’t he. Giving him the armband has boosted him today as well. You can’t not love him 💪

City: We once overstated our Sponsorhip income by £830m & told everyone we'd done nothing wrong.

The scale of Manchester City's financial cheating laid bare in independent commission report: the club overstated sponsorship income by more than £830 million over eight years.
An utter stain on the game and they need removing as such.
Void their titles.
Kick them down to the lowest possible tier and make them start again.
Their real fans will stick with them. The rest of the gibbering gimps who shout about them will disappear 🥳

It isn't gloating or even tribalism when I say that that verdict and report is the most damning thing to happen in English football since the match fixing ring of 1964.
The punishment for this level of deceit and cheating has to be catastrophic for Manchester City. It has to be or it will be the final nail in coffin of football.
I like Man City, my Uncle and Cousin are lifelong fans and I always had a soft spot for them in the Royle/Keegan/Pearce era. But from sportswashing to the fraudulent way they've dominated the English game. I hope they're ejected from the professional pyramid in the same way Bury and Leeds City were. I hope their owners are banned from owning a football club in this country for life and I hope all executives face the same bans.
Only the strongest possible sanctions will be enough to maintain the wavering integrity of the game. Our Pyramid is the greatest institution in sports. An island nation with 92 pro clubs and a vibrant and deep amateur game where the dream of climbing the leagues and challenging for honours like Wimbledon, Wigan and Luton keeps thousands of players and fans coming back for more.
Manchester City are a cancer to the English game.
