Shannon's long term vision and On3's commitment to the West Coast were the deciding factors. It has been a tremendous day...so excited for the future.

BeaverBlitz and I are taking things full circle — we’re back with the Rivals/On3 Network. Shoveller and Pondering launched BeaverBlitz on Rivals on March 1, 2002. I took the reins exactly four years later on March 1, 2006, and we stayed with Yahoo/Rivals until September 1, 2016, when we joined Scout/247Sports. Now, 10 years later, we’re coming home. We started from scratch and built BeaverBlitz into the largest and most engaged Oregon State fan community on the internet. Along the way we launched a podcast, mentored dozens of talented student journalists who have gone on to make real impacts across the industry, and told the stories of generations of Beavers. I’m not someone who embraces change easily, but when the opportunity arose to rejoin friends and longtime colleagues — leaders like Brandon Huffman and Greg Biggins — and after hearing Shannon Terry’s clear vision for the future of the platform, I knew this was something I had to explore seriously. As I did, one big idea kept coming back to me: What if we partnered with Brenden Slaughter and the BeaversEdge team? Could we join forces and build the ultimate Oregon State destination? The stars aligned, and we made it happen. I’m thrilled to announce that BeaverBlitz is now stronger than ever. Brenden has 10 years covering the Beavers and I have 20 — that’s 30 combined years of institutional knowledge working together for you. We’re keeping key members of the BeaverBlitz and BeaversEdge teams on board and merging the best of both worlds. Beaver fans will now have one premier space dedicated to the team we all love. Expect deeper podcasts, more insightful analysis, more videos, expanded coverage across football, basketball, baseball and recruiting, plus an even bigger, more vibrant community here in The Lodge. This is just the beginning. Thank you for your incredible loyalty over the years — I can’t wait to show you what we’re building together. Go Beavs, always!
