2027 6’7” wing Ryan Wingard had a good showing at the Battle of the Villages, showing off his athleticism, toughness, and developing skill set. He played with energy and competed hard throughout the event, making an impact on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Wingard attacked off the dribble with confidence, using his burst and body control to get to the rim through contact. He also showed the ability to shoot the ball and moved well without it, making timely cuts, running the floor in transition, and finishing on second-chance opportunities. On defense, he took on tough assignments, applying solid on-ball pressure and using his length and quickness to contest shots and disrupt passing lanes. His motor and physicality stood out on the boards, as he grabbed rebounds and made hustle plays that helped his team. Overall, Wingard’s performance showed clear upside, positioning him as a 6’7” 2027 wing to keep an eye on moving forward. @RyanWingard5 @McCalliehoops
