This has been one of the most difficult days of my adult life. Here is my official public statement on the murder-suicide committed by my friend, legal colleague, and Divine-9 Member former VA Lt. Gov @LGJustinFairfax I am turning off comments because some of you cannot be civil, decent and respectful at this devastating moment. I spoke to Justin last two days ago, Tuesday via text. He was not in a good place. I never saw this coming. I tried with others to encourage him. We failed.

I will have more to say about the late former Lt. Governor of Virginia @LGJustinFairfax he was a close friend. Both @LVBurke and I spoke to him if not daily. Often. He was deeply depressed. He was going through a bad divorce. Still sharing home with his wife. And those who knew him we were talking to him. We never saw this coming. Ever. We are all devastated.
