The Aussies on Safari 🏏🇦🇺
What do you think of our South African names for the Australians? 👀
#SSCricket | #SAvAUS
Fair to say AUS have competed far better in SA this series than SA did at AUS in their last reverse series
Were completely humbled
One of underrated thing about test cricket which no one takes is competitiveness of the touring team in the home country in reciprocal series

There's no quarter given in the Saffa - Aussie rivalry 🇿🇦💥🇦🇺

Bavuma getting bogged down vs Lyon
Doesn't have massive range vs spin
Specially offspin
And fear factor too
But he needs to stay irrespective of his range
Have not seen him get this troubled vs spinners in Asia even as he have got vs Lyon in SA
Marques Ackerman
Did not lose a sweat&still a 60 ball 50
Who thought a 30 yr old 48 FC Avg pro who scored runs everywhere&vs everyone in last 2 yrs of A-tours would look a million dollar batter against this quality AUS attack in his 2nd test only in not his best position even
Bedingham cannot be a test no 3
Said this before this series start itself
Infact a top 3 of Markram, Ackerman and Bedingham is non sustainable and highly volatile
No grafters
Attacking shotmakers
Not ideal position
Ackerman& Bedingham needs to bat at 5&6

SA needs to bat till Tea of Day 4 if they have any remote chance of winning this game
Basically 3 sessions

Josh Inglis
That's the complete list.

John Campbell great ball striker
Doing good job for WI as an opener
Has played some glorious shots vs Miraz&Taijul today

One joy of watching a Test series in South Africa is this stacked commentary panel. Just look at this ...Pommie Mbangwa, Graeme Smith, Shaun Pollock, Mark Nicholas, Barry Richards, Simon Katich, Makhaya Ntini, Vernon Philander, Mark Howard, Natalie Germanos.
Former captains, great fast bowlers, an all-time opener and some of the best broadcasters in the game, all in one box. No shouting, or filler. Just everyone dropping genuine knowledge, ball after ball.
That SA bowling lacks the extra spice in good batting tracks
3rd &4th seamer massive issues as expected
Only Jansen is great who himself is going
Harmer cannot do much as a spinner:best thing is holding role
The moment Rabada had an off day, this attack crumbled
AUS didn't collapse aa
Inglis-Carey put up a magnificent century partnership
The longly awaited day of AUS batting domination with contribution from all players has finally come today & what a time to do-without their best batsman missing&most inform batsman out for 41
Either AUS gonna collapse ruthlessly in the 220-260 range or Green-Renshaw to put up and coming up the age defining partnership setting up the blueprint for the future AUS side in batting
Only thing that is guaranteed this will be a second innings shootout

What a superb session of Test cricket. Two batters putting a price on their wicket, making the most of good batting conditions. Discipline, application & some lovely batting with no untoward aggression. Brilliant from Alex Carey & Josh Inglis

From CA: Steve Smith developed neck pain on day four of the second Test in Gqeberha last week.
Subsequent MRI imaging confirmed a cervical facet joint injury. Due to this and his limited range of motion he was unfit to participate in the current Test.
Expecting there will be greater clarity later today from Cricket Australia on what really happened with Steve Smith and his neck yesterday. Smith left the ground for a period earlier today in a car but came back around the end of lunch.
