Nearly every respondent in the study (97.2%) reported overriding AI outputs at least some of the time. Yet 89% report that their AI systems and agents have decision-making authority. Those numbers together present an interesting dichotomy. SAS' Marinela Profi had a strong opinion about agentic AI autonomy on stage at The Atlantic Festival recently.
