Apparently when streets burned in Hong Kong, the answer was dialogue.
When streets burn in Paris, the answer is law and order.
Violence did not change.
The address did.

反中派はなぜ中国を嫌うのか。
「独裁だから」
「人権侵害があるから」
「侵略的だから」
「ルールを守らないから」
では、なぜ同じことをする国には何も言わないのか。
結局、「中国だから許せない」なのだ。
明治以降、日本は「中国より上」という優越意識を長く持ってきた。
ところが今、中国は日本を追い越すほど強く豊かになった。
その現実が面白くない。
しかし「中国が嫌い」とは素直に言えず、だから人権・民主主義・国際ルールという立派な言葉を後から並べて、中国嫌いを正当化する。
反中保守が守ろうとしているのは、「普遍的な価値観」ではなく、昔の日本の優越感である。
「中国さん、どうかまた弱く貧しい国になってください」
これが反中派の本音である。
