An Angels employee emailed me in ‘26, offering ticket packages b/c I previously bought tickets for LAD@LAA in ‘25. I replied, refusing to buy any more LAA tickets as long as Moreno was owner. Today, I received this follow-up email. It’s as if they were liberated from a dictator.

I find it odd that the official release from the team says “Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim” when the “of Anaheim” was dropped from the official team name in like 2015.

This has always been a stupid rule and I never understood it. If a runner comes home from third after not tagging up and there’s an inning ending double play, that run should not score. Whoever created this rule as written was thinking way too hard. If there’s a force out of any kind to end an inning, no runs should count on the play.
