IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! 🎂🩸
And you know what I want?
I want to get BLOOD OF THE FORSAKEN one step closer to finished.
I waited 20 years to come back to this world. I stepped away to to raise four kids. Then I rebuilt my book as the comic it was always meant to be!
Now I need your help bringing it to life.
If you’ve been thinking about backing the campaign, today would be a HELL of a day to do it. ❤️

Tony Gilroy says the 'clown car in Washington' appears to be using the same 'Fascism for Dummies' playbook he referenced when writing the Empire in 'Andor'
"it’s the same shit all the time. Get rid of truth, get rid of a free press, destroy communities, nationalize the businesses, find an arbitrary enemy that you can elevate and false flag them through propaganda. Flood the zone with as much gak and atrocity as you can so that nobody can pay attention to what just happened, and pray that you have an overwhelming majority of sheep that will follow you. It’s just tragically and sadly familiar. It’s on them; it’s not on us"
On AI regulation, he says 'there [couldn't] be a worse bunch of clowns in charge of it right now'
"You couldn’t set the bar any lower than where it’s being set in Washington right now"

Here they are! The A and B covers for QUEST OF THE AETERSTONE! The fantasy series that I'm writing with @skywalkerthrawn doing art. Eli blew me away with these covers. He's fantastic. Coming soon to Kickstarter!
And now a lil thread about what this comic is...

Would like to give a massive thanks to @ATGcast for being kind enough to send me a copy of their new book - Who Owns The Myth?
Was listening to Pete’s interview with @SEJordanWilson as I was driving home earlier today, and really enjoyed their discussion of fandom, mythology, and more. It’s clear that a lot of thought and passion has been put into this novel.
Beyond appreciative for Pete reaching out and sending me a copy, and I’m excited to give this a read later this week. Thank you!

This January, I'm launching my first class focused on being a fiction editor in book #publishing. It's an eight week course built around learning what editors *actually do* with practical experience doing it.

Long enough has passed since #StarWars #TrialsoftheJedi that I figure I can share the only editorial note I gave Charles Soule on the #StarWarsHighRepublic finale that I was adamant about.
"Do not make it a punishment. It cannot read that way. At all."
