Update: A crane has arrived on the scene and is getting into position to remove the car from the track. Once the car is removed and inspections complete, we'll run trains on a single track between Castro Valley and West Dublin for the rest of revenue service. ETA for single tracking is 6:30pm. Major repairs will take place tonight after revenue service.

BART service has stopped between Castro Valley and West Dublin/Pleasanton stations due to a car crash on I-580. A vehicle involved in the crash is on the BART tracks. We do not yet have an ETA for service restoration.
