Excited to see you all tonight and tomorrow night at the galas. Here is something to get you in the Pioneer spirit: youtube.com/watch?v=O77lzQlo…

This was certainly not the year that we would usually envision. Because of each and every one of our members in the University community, we were able to have some of the typical college experiences. We can’t wait to welcome our Pioneers back in the fall. youtu.be/Zzchf1eMa1k

We are proud to announce that our new residence hall opening this fall will be named for Thea Bowman, a sister, teacher, scholar and leader who made major contributions to the Catholic Church for her fellow African Americans. The new dining hall will be named The Lodge.

Thank you to the Class of 2021 for their honest reflection on their time spent here at Sacred Heart. Remember, this will always be home. youtu.be/P0Enx1b9p6M

I hope you will enjoy this piece, beautifully written by SHU Gospel Choir Director Michael Brown and sung by the gospel choir, to honor the frontline workers from SHU—both those featured in this video and not. We thank you for your selfless service. youtu.be/-BQMwIUXd1o

I would like to extend my appreciation to those who attended today's event "As You Are." This program allows us to offer affirmation and support to the LGBTQ+ students of Sacred Heart University.

Today we broke ground for our brand new ice arena. I would like to thank the Martire Family for their endless support toward the Sacred Heart community.

Today the Sacred Heart community came together to pause and remember. We demonstrated that the pandemic is much more than staggering numbers. Today this community took time to stop and remember each person in the state whose life has been taken.

I want to share my gratitude for our @SHUBigRed female student-athletes and coaches on #NGWSD. You are all great ambassadors for our university and role models to young female athletes everywhere.

We are looking forward to having our Pioneers back on campus. Please remember to adhere to the Pioneer Promise. Soon, 800 nursing and health-care students will have received the first dose of the vaccine. We are all in this together. youtube.com/watch?v=2B9njfHa…

Saddened by the events that unfolded yesterday in our nation’s capital. I pray for all of us. Read more of my reflections here: sacredheartuniversity.typepa…

Happy Thanksgiving to our SHU community. I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing day at home.

Thank you, Pioneers, for your commitment to keeping each other safe this semester. You’ve proven that SHU is a place where we care for one another and put others ahead of ourselves.

Today is the day. Please exercise your civic duty and go vote. Our shuttles are running. Please practice COVID-19 safety protocols while at your polling place. And remember, your vote matters.

Be sure to check out The Pulse Show #37. Our SCMA students explore politics, the World Series, SHU Athletics and more. Great work. youtube.com/watch?v=JXmmdi9j…

Do not believe the rumors. We have no plans of going remote. We need your help to finish this year together, on ground.

Please join us tomorrow at 8 a.m. on the Lower Quad for a remembrance flag event in honor of 9/11. Please note the time change. Thank you.

Pioneers, please check your email regarding random coronavirus testing. It is critical that if you are selected, that you show up for the test. Thank you for your support. Read more here: sacredheart.edu/offices--dep…
