On Friday, 9th October 2026, I joined H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni @KagutaMuseveni at State House, Entebbe, for a meeting with medical interns and leaders of the Uganda Medical Association (UMA).
I appreciate H.E. for his dedication to supporting Uganda’s medical fraternity, including the Shs125 billion pledge to the UMA SACCO to expand access to affordable credit, promote professional development and create opportunities for health workers.
This support is vital to improving the welfare of our medical professionals and strengthening healthcare service delivery. 🇺🇬
From our boss to you and us 🥰
I congratulate Uganda on 64 years of Independence! Under the leadership and guidance of H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni @KagutaMuseveni, our country has enjoyed peace and stability, creating an enabling environment for investment and attracting investors to explore opportunities across various sectors.
I welcome more investors to Uganda to take advantage of our favourable investment climate and contribute to job creation and economic growth.

Thank You for the many Ugandans who prayed for my healing and restoration over these months. Lord, You know that I have been an intercessor and prayed for Uganda, for her people, families, communities, women, youth and children all these years. I have carried the people of this nation in my heart and brought our many needs to You in prayer.
In January of this year, we went through a peaceful election process that returned Mzee for another term. We thank You for hearing the prayers of Your people and for giving us a peaceful crossing as a nation through the election season.
Now we pray that You will continue to walk with us and be our God as You have been. We ask for Divine Help, Wisdom and Guidance for our President as he continues to serve this great nation.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name,
Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We are gathered here today on the eve of our 64th Independence celebration to give thanks to You, our God, for all of Your mercies towards us. We are very grateful for the way You have faithfully walked with us on this our national journey as Ugandans.
As we look back and reflect on this year 2026, we have much to give thanks for, as individuals, families and as a nation.

Father, we thank You that You have been a comfort to our people during the difficult seasons that we have gone through this year. In particular, we appreciate the comfort and consolation that You gave to the people of Tooro and Uganda, as we grieved the loss of the young King Oyo. We thank You for the blessing of his life and for the way he graciously carried the legacy of the kingdom from childhood.
Finally, Lord on my own behalf and on behalf of my family, I give You all the praise and glory for saving my life and giving me this opportunity to stand in the congregation of Your people and testify of Your goodness, mercies and healing power.

Maama and I hosted the National Prayer Breakfast today at State House Entebbe under the theme, “Wake Up, Work Hard, Build Uganda”
First of all, I thank God for preserving the life of Maama and ensuring her steady recovery. I also reminded Ugandans that God has given each of us talents, and our duty is to multiply them through hard work and use them to build our country.

Today, I joined the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) for a consultative engagement with manufacturers and key stakeholders to discuss practical ways of strengthening Uganda’s manufacturing and investment environment.
A key focus was the operationalisation and revamping of the Uganda’s One-Stop Centre into OSC 2.0—with a vision of making investor facilitation more proactive, coordinated and responsive, including stronger investor aftercare and improved coordination among Government agencies.
We also listened to concerns raised by manufacturers on areas including the 30% TAT cash deposit requirement, proposed alternatives such as a 10% bank guarantee or insurance bond, aspects of the Employment (Amendment) Act, 2025, and taxation of foreign-sourced income.
These engagements provide an opportunity for Government and the private sector to examine practical solutions that support compliance, competitiveness and investment while protecting the interests of workers and businesses.
As Uganda advances its 10-fold growth strategy, a productive and competitive manufacturing sector will be essential to expanding production, strengthening local value addition, accessing regional and global markets, and creating more opportunities.
I appreciate UMA and the manufacturing fraternity for the constructive dialogue. I look forward to continued engagement as we work towards a more responsive investment environment that enables businesses to invest, produce, expand and grow.
