What a curious place the “Twittersphere (now X) is. Starmer finally accepts the inevitable and walks away from being the worst PM we've had since Chamberlain. He leaves behind nothing positive by way of a legacy. No success upon which to look back, no achievements. Nothing. Instead we are a deeply divided nation led by a succession of professional politicians ever more dedicated to ignoring the will of the nation. Yet all his acolytes do is blame everyone else for his abject failure. Farage, Trump, Musk, Robinson, the media and the ever-popular “far right”. None of these were prime minister commanding a majority of over 150 seats. Yet despite this he was unable to last two years. I think he will not be missed.
Why do Republican Americans insist on referring to the Democrats as “the left”? The left of what? They're only slightly less right-wing than the GOP. The USA does have “the left”, and most of them couldn't tell you what socialism, communism or Marxism actually are. They're just words Fox News has taught them.

First decent thing to happen under this car crash of a government. Finally, people will be allowed to pass away with dignity and end incurable suffering and pain. No outside influences on their decisions.
