Yo @CollierGov if this crazy socialist guy can solve this problem in his massive city surely you could do the same…start with your gem of a park that is too often underutilized when the sun sets, North Collier Park.
New York, it’s official. We’re extending our Open Play program to keep the lights on at soccer fields across the city this fall and next summer. Re-starting tonight, you can play free pickup soccer from 10pm to 2am every night at these @NYCParks: Soundview Park in the Bronx, Calvert Vaux Park in Brooklyn, Harlem River Park in Manhattan, Astoria Park in Queens, and Fairview Park on Staten Island. Onsite play will be led by @nycfooty — drop in or sign up online at nycopenplay.com.

There is very little clear footage of flight 11 flying over manhattan and striking the north tower. Practically none exists in fact. But we have Jules Naudet’s footage, that not only captures this rare event, but actually follows firemen into those very towers that ultimately became perhaps the most famous unintended film and documentary ever created. Jules is tagging along with batallion chief Joseph pfeifer as they respond to a mundane gas leak call at church and lispenard. The firsr couple minutes is pretty boring, regular Tuesday morning work. Beautiful sunny day, twin towers in the background. Until 1 min 45 sec into the footage can you can an unusually low jetliner flying directly over manhattan. Everyone looks up in confusion, and what they see next changed America forever.
