Wishing a Happy Krishna Janmashtami ! From you, I learned love, O Kanha, From you, I learned the pain of separation. It was not the time of your birth, It was the birth of time itself. Krishna Janmashtami is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu. In Hindu texts, such as the Gita Govinda, Krishna has been identified as supreme God and the source of all avatars. Krishna's birth is celebrated and observed on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the dark fortnight (Krishna Paksha) in Shravana Masa. The celebratory customs associated with Janmashtami include a festival, reading and recitation of religious texts, dance and enactments of the life of Krishna according to the Bhagavata Purana, devotional singing till midnight, the time of Krishna's birth and fasting (upavasa), amongst other things. Some break their daylong fast at midnight with a feast. Krishna Janmashtami is widely celebrated across India and abroad.

Wishing all a happy Teachers day !

Shared the four principles of competitiveness leading to a global outlook with grad students of PSG institute of Technology in Coimbatore. Give your dreams the wings of technology, Let innovation shape a brighter destiny. When challenges arise, let courage lead the way, And with your knowledge, build a better tomorrow.
