New data has revealed that the average rent price in Norwich has increased by nearly Ā£100 per month, on average, over the past year.
Dylan, a third year student at UEA said he will try to rent, but it is most likely that he will stay home with his family while saving up.
āFor me, it depends on job security, and if Iām able to find a job with liveable wage, and find a house that isnāt too expensive.ā

First solo autocue and night PA shift as a freelancer āļø
Feels great to be a part of the team on both sides of the newsroom - looking forward to learning as much as I can!
Iāve been at @BBCLookEast this week being trained up for autocue shifts - itās been exciting to see how it all works and to have a go at scrolling for the night programme myself!
Meanwhile in Norwich, celebrating the 20th in some well awaited summer weather!
Who knew it could be so light at 4 in the morning! Made it a lot easier to get up for breakfast shifts at @BBCNorfolk.
Iāve had my training this week, reading travel news, and speaking on air here and there. Next week Iāll be doing it all for real - for now, time to rest!
