Slovenia in Switzerland

State Secretary @PozarTamara will attend the 11th Annual Forum and General Assembly of the #EUSALP. Discussions will focus on shaping the future strategic priorities of the Alpine region. On the margins, she will hold several bilateral meetings with representatives of Bavaria.

"Širitev 🇪🇺 je pomembno geostrateško orodje za krepitev varnosti in stabilnosti Evrope. Države kandidatke potrebujejo jasno in verodostojno evropsko perspektivo, saj negotovost odpira prostor za škodljive zunanje vplive in povečuje varnostna tveganja." Ob tem je države spodbudil k vključitvi v 🛡️ Center za kibernetsko zmogljivost na Zahodnem Balkanu #WB3C, ki prispeva h krepitvi kibernetske varnosti in odpornosti regije. ------------- #FAC | Minister @TKajzer emphasized that integration of the #WesternBalkans countries into the #EU is a priority for #Slovenia, while at the same time 🇸🇮 supports #Ukraine 🇺🇦 and #Moldova 🇲🇩 on their path toward Europe. "Enlargement 🇪🇺 is an important geostrategic tool for strengthening Europe’s security and stability. Candidate countries need a clear and credible European perspective, as uncertainty creates space for harmful external influences and increases security risks." He also encouraged countries to join the Western Balkans Cyber Capability Center #WB3C, which contributes to strengthening the region’s cybersecurity and resilience.

Minister @TKajzer je vodil prvo sejo Strateškega sveta za zunanjo politiko v novi sestavi, na kateri so govorili o prenovi 🇸🇮 zunanjepolitične strategije. "Strategija mora odražati aktualno geopolitično okolje ter ključne prioritete in interese #Slovenija," je povedal minister.

The proclamation of 13 September as the International Day of Caves and Karst by #UNESCO is an outstanding diplomatic achievement for #Slovenia. It is also the result of a successful multi-year diplomatic campaign and a recognition of the excellence of 🇸🇮 karst science. The success of the campaign also builds on the long-standing, world-class work of Slovenian scientists in researching and protecting caves and karst, as well as related phenomena.

Minister @TKajzer will open the 21st @BledStratForum with an address. Held under the title “The Power to Shape the Future,” this year’s forum will put at the forefront one of the fundamental questions of our time: Whether Europe will be capable of actively shaping its own future? Over the course of two days, Bled will become an important meeting point for political leaders, representatives of international organisations, the business community, academia and civil society. On the margins of the forum, the Minister will hold numerous bilateral meetings and talks with foreign ministers and participate in a panel discussion on the role of Central and South-Eastern Europe. State Secretaries at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Dr Stanislav Raščan and @PozarTamara, will also take part in panel discussions. They will use their participation in the Bled forum to hold bilateral meetings with their counterparts.
