Meaghan Mobbs has done so much for Ukraine and foreigners in Ukraine. So I say this with the utmost respect. Meaghans refusal to acknowledge what trump has done is incredibly damaging. Trump has betrayed Americans, betrayed Europe, betrayed Ukraine and betrayed the legacy of America. I understand you love your country, but pretending the abusive leader is attempting to do the right thing, while we all must bend whim to him is an insanely horrific take. Morality is not about allegiance and America first is not about allowing everything America stands for to be flushed down the toilet because it's current leader is the one doing it. Pandering for Trump won't make America great or aid Ukraine, or defeat russia, it will only embolden a man that loves himself more your country and strengthen the west enemies.
Meaghan Mobbs on Zelenskyy's criticism of Trump: If you're being an unnecessary irritant in a critical relationship at a critical time for your country, you should rethink your rhetoric. If intelligence sharing and the drone deal are priorities, sometimes ego doesn't matter.

He really is an utter fuckwit. It’s clear he has a lot of fuckwits standing behind him too. It would be gunning if it wasn’t so serious.
Trump: "The first one is they show you a lion, a bear, a snake, and a giraffe. And they say, 'Which one is the giraffe?' I got a perfect score."

“Americans did the majority of fighting” It was your fucking war, moron. Next time you’ll do ALL the fighting because you’ll have no allies left aside from russia, and they aren’t going to fight for you.
Replying to @6Voodoo
Americans did the majority of fighting (intentional and incidental) in Afghanistan. The Brits and French did their share, (I’m told a few others of the Western Europe did too)… but they stuck the Euros in the west and north for the most part, where it was more safe. (UK and Canadians were in the south I know)

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

The Chief of the General Staff has just warned troops of the grave threats facing Britain and the need for a frank national conversation on defence. Meanwhile, @wesstreeting appears remarkably sanguine about watering down our defence commitments. The disconnect is staggering.
Breaking: The Defence Secretary has just rowed back from 3% of GDP for Defence by 2030. This was the figure that caused John Healy to resign.

Sanctions relief will continue. I think the diesel deal and the move regarding the Lindsey Graham Act are not the end of it. Unfortunately. It’s unfortunate because we all had great respect for Lindsey. He devoted his life to America. We had an excellent relationship with him. And shortly before the tragedy, Lindsey was in Ukraine. He always supported us very strongly and pushed for as much assistance to Ukraine as possible. It’s difficult without him, I’ll be honest. I want to thank both Democrats and Republicans who supported his bill. That was a major victory: this truly bipartisan support. And now, the decision to undo all of this, to block all of it, seems wrong to me. And it definitely helps only the Russians. It only fuels their satisfaction and their desire to keep killing people. This certainly does not stop the war. From answers to journalists’ questions. (1/3)

To put this in laymen's terms, Musk and Trump are now hobbling Ukraine's ability to protect its civilian population from a type of Russian drone that functions more like a cruise missile. This is not the United States adopting a neutral position vis-a-vis the war. This is the United States facilitating Russian terror.
Ukraine's Starshield terminals still don't work properly, President Zelensky confirms, disabling Ukrainian interceptors used to shoot down Russian jet-powered drones that have been hitting civilian targets in recent weeks. kyivindependent.com/planned-…

Great explanation well worth a read.
1/5 The massive Yandex outages following recent drone strikes on Russian data centers have triggered a noticeable shift online. While many celebrated a "drop in bot traffic," the reality is far more nuanced. Here is how it actually impacts Russian influence ops. 👇

One of the hardest things for any sailor to see is a ship going to scrap. Whilst we know it has to happen it’s like part of you is lost too. My respect to the submariners that socked it to the yanks in true SSK style and all who served on her.

Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries. We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine! Peace can only come through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of Reagan’s. Glory to Ukraine!
