I keep asking myself: why are we working so hard to build careers in tech when AI is advancing this fast?
I’m a pentester, and even in cybersecurity I can already feel the shift. It makes me wonder how many of today’s tech jobs will still exist a few years from now.
AI is incredible—but sometimes it feels like we’re gambling with people’s livelihoods in the race to build it faster.

Real hackers understand what happens behind the scenes. Do you? 👀
2015 was about exploring, learning, and understanding how systems could be broken.
2026 is about using that knowledge to defend, detect, respond, and build more secure systems.
The tools changed.
The skills evolved.
The mindset matured.
Same passion. More skills. Bigger impact. 🚀

The Hacker Was Already Inside.
The strange part?
There was no obvious malware.
No dramatic warning.
No locked files.
Everything looked normal.
That’s one of the most dangerous things about modern cyber attacks.
Attackers don’t always need to “break” into a system. Sometimes they use something that already exists:
A valid account.
If an attacker obtains legitimate credentials, traditional security controls may see a normal user logging in from a normal account.
Then the attacker can slowly:
→ Discover internal systems
→ Identify privileged accounts
→ Move between machines
→ Access sensitive data
→ Maintain access
→ Cover their tracks
This is known as Living off the Land when legitimate system tools and functionality are abused to perform malicious actions.
And that’s why cybersecurity isn’t simply about detecting suspicious files.
A skilled defender asks:
“Is this activity normal for this user, on this system, at this time?”
Because sometimes the most dangerous process on a machine isn’t an unknown program.
It’s a completely legitimate tool being used for the wrong reason.
The hardest attacks aren’t always the loudest.
Sometimes, they look completely normal.

What if:
Gemini is dead.
OpenAI is dead.
Copilot is dead.
Claude is dead.
DeepSeek is dead.
What will you do
🔐 You Don’t Need to Learn Everything in Cybersecurity
One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is trying to learn everything at once.
