You obviously slept through the wake-up call of Walker's defeat and learned the wrong lesson. This doubling down on authoritarian politics to subvert the will of the people is going to guarantee you lose next election.
Good riddance, though!

How fucking pathetic is someone over the age of 5 who has to constantly brag about knowing the difference between a giraffe & an elephant?

Sending unsolicited dick pics at age 53 is crazy behavior. He calls it “youthful indiscretion.”
YIKES! It seems @Justinjpearson’s TN-9 opponent state senator @BrentTaylorTN has a history of sending unsolicited nude pics to people who are not his wife.
(No wonder Trump wants him in congress)

If there’s sexual abuse involved, you better believe Trump is going to side with the accused abuser. You can set your fucking watch by how consistent he is on that.

Nine students walked into a public library in Jackson, Mississippi in 1961 and asked for books.
The library was for white people. Their own library did not have what they needed.
They sat down and read. They were arrested for breach of the peace. For reading.
27th March 1961. The Tougaloo Nine — Meredith Anding, James Bradford, Alfred Cook, Geraldine Edwards, Janice Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Albert Lassiter, Evelyn Pierce and Ethel Sawyer — students at Tougaloo College.
They went first to the Black branch library and requested books that were not held there. Then they walked to the main public library on State Street and requested the same books.
They were told to leave and go to the Black branch. They sat down at the tables and started reading.
The police came. Breach of the peace. They spent about thirty-two hours in jail and were fined a hundred dollars each.
The next day students at Jackson State held a prayer vigil for them and police broke it up with dogs and clubs.
This is called the Jackson Read-In, and it is the first direct action of the Mississippi movement — before the Freedom Rides reached the state, before Medgar Evers's murder, before Freedom Summer. Nine students decided the opening move of the Mississippi civil rights movement would be requesting a book.
The choice of target was not sentimental. A library is the purest possible demonstration. Nobody can argue that a library is about private property, or cleanliness, or protecting white women. It is a building full of public knowledge, paid for by everybody's taxes, that Black citizens were not allowed to enter.
All nine finished their degrees. Several became teachers and professors. In 2011 Mississippi honoured them, fifty years on, in the state that had jailed them.
The Jackson library is desegregated. One of the branches is named after Medgar Evers.

Alex Gibney: “A lot of these deaths related to Full Self Driving or Autopilot, 67 so far. If that had happened at GM over a brake malfunction, it would be massive congressional hearings. A lot of those things were settled so the actual facts of the matter wouldn’t come to light. In the film, we have the case of one which is a pedestrian who was killed by a runaway Tesla with malfunctioning Autopilot. They took that to trial and won a rather massive judgement and the evidence is overwhelming not only how bad the system was, but also how hard Tesla tried to hide the evidence of malfeasance. In a lot of cases, Autopilot has a function where milliseconds before the car slams into a wall, Autopilot will turn off, and so Tesla can say with a straight face Autopilot was not engaged at the time of the crash”

There are a very small number of countries that still carry out public executions. Those are the countries we are constantly told are uniquely primitive, barbaric, sick and evil.
It's revealing that Pete Hegseth wants the US to join that group but also entirely unsurprising.
Breaking news: The firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan will be live-streamed, the Defense Department said.
“People need to understand that there’s serious consequences for these types of things,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said. wapo.st/4hNxK0C

There is no question that Nidal Hasan deserves punishment.
He committed a horrific act of mass murder at Fort Hood in 2009, killing 13 people and wounding 32. He was convicted, sentenced to death, and his sentence survived the appeals process. President Trump has approved his execution.
But Pete Hegseth has chosen to turn that execution into a public spectacle.
An execution is the state exercising its most extreme power over a human being. It should be carried out with solemnity, restraint, and respect for the victims—not presented as something the public should watch to absorb a lesson.
Public executions were abandoned because civilized justice was supposed to move beyond the medieval spectacle of crowds gathering to watch the state kill.
Are children supposed to watch and learn from this?
Is this really what we want the United States government teaching the next generation about the use of state power?
Hasan’s crimes were horrific. That does not make the government’s decision to turn his execution into public theater any less disturbing.

JD is also going after the "foreigner" at the University of Wisconsin that just won the Nobel Prize for physics.
JD Vance: "Some of America's most elite universities bring in foreigners to undercut the wages of American residents. There are 9 universities in particular that we believe merit an investigation. Those are Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Brown, the University of Pittsburg, UC Davis, Cal Tech, Arizona State, and MIT."

If Bernie’s 5% a year billionaire wealth tax had been enacted in 2012, Elon Musk would be worth less than $365 billion instead of the $1 trillion he’s worth today. He’d still be the wealthiest man alive & every senior in America would have dental, vision & hearing under Medicare.

Warmongering is a threat to every single person in this country. Every bomb and bullet is another piece of food taken from a hungry child.

This is an important point by @AnaKasparian. Israel Firsters often point to the WW2 bombing of Dresden to justify what they did in Gaza.
But the bombing of Dresden was considered uniquely horrific (even if "justfiied"). But it was small fraction of what Israel dropped on Gaza:
