⚽ Relive the playoff magic! No. 1 Sachem East defeated No. 4 Ward Melville to advance to the Suffolk County Class AAA Championship! The Arrows will play for the county title on Thursday, October 29, at 7 p.m. at West Islip High School, serving as the neutral site.

Our Arrows earned first place at Huntington with an incredible 86.700 - the band’s highest score under modern scoring! The performance surpassed Sachem’s previous high of 86.150, set during its final performance in 2022.

🏆🎶 First place for Sachem! Congrats to the Sachem Marching Band on winning this weekend at Mineola’s home show with a score of 85.050, competing against three other bands! They’re back in action Sunday. Join us in wishing our student musicians luck as they compete again.

Ms. Morrill nominated Thomas Hespos for a Character Coin!! In College Anatomy & Physiology students were asked to bring in 3 containers of Play-Doh, Tom went above & beyond bringing in 10! He wanted extras for kids who could not afford it or classmates who forgot theirs. 😎👏

UPDATE: Crews from Sachem North and Sachem East have started to re-shingle the roof at the SYAG House in Holbrook.  Our target goal of finishing the project by 10/30 is well in reach!

🎶 A harmonious night at the ballpark! Seneca Middle School Chorus Director Mrs. Franz-Mele directed and performed with a talented vocal quintet for a beautiful rendition of “God Bless America” at a recent Long Island Ducks playoff game.

Mrs. Cannetti’s Business & Marketing Honor Society at Sachem East recently made a generous donation to Carol’s Senior Pet Sanctuary in Bayport! The nonprofit welcomes dogs of all ages, health conditions and backgrounds, providing care for animals in need.

The Sachem Marching Band earned first place at its home show, posting a score of 84.150 and finishing ahead of two other competing bands. Beyond the competition, the home show recognized the band’s senior members for their contributions to the program.

A huge thank you to Mr. Lemke and the Volunteer Club for running our first blood drive this year, it is always a success and on Friday East donated 91 pints of blood equating to 273 lives saved, great job all & thanks to all who volunteered ❤️👏 @SachemSchools
