FINAL: Auburn 80-68 Samford
A strong showing from Samford against a top 10 team in the SEC. Just could not string together enough stops but positives for sure to take away. We do it for real on Monday night against Berry.
Cooper Noard - 30 pts, 10 reb
Ty Davis - 13 pts
Cade Norris - 9 pts, 5 ast, 4 reb
Auburn 71-64 Samford, 3:19
Bulldogs fighting hard here down just 7 after the under 4 media TO. Samford made their last three from the field, just need to string together a few more stops.
Auburn 59-56 Samford, 7:41 left
Bulldogs keep hanging around as a big three from Ty Davis cuts the Tigers lead back to 3. Auburn is 22% from three in the second half. Not over by any stretch of the imagination here on the Plains.

Auburn 23-22 Samford, 3:15 left
Well Auburn has picked it up offensively but I still like Samford's defense though.
Samford is settling for some tougher looks on the other side of the floor. 0 points over the last 2:09.
Auburn at the FT line after the media.
Samford 17-11 Auburn, 7:54
Will Shaver diving on the floor after a loose ball to send us into the media TO. Love to see that. A big three from Diggie pushes the Samford lead to 6. Auburn is 1/5 from three.
Samford 12-9 Auburn, 10:23 left
Really like Samford's effort so far on the defensive end. Cooper Noard leads all scorers with 7. Slower start offensively for Auburn, lets hope that continues.

You heard the man, we got Pack the Pete this year.
Samford has already won their first 2 exhibitions but we’re less than a week away from it counting.
Chapter I of the Acuff era saw 18 wins and the SoCon Player of the Year.
Now it’s time for Chapter II. ⬇️
